Kamandi was anything but rubbish. It solves the problem of continuing adventure series' becoming predictable and "stale" over time: keep introducing interesting new characters... then either say goodbye to them or else kill them off.

I don't know. It was always visually popping but I don't really feel it had that much character or even story beyond letting Kirby draw whatever he wanted. I mainly remember the last issue which was by Jim Starlin and it was the one where they linked it to OMAC's future.
