It’s always interesting to see Marvel attempting to get on the Vertigo bandwagon. The art especially is very DC.

Marvel would always try to get something Vertigo-ish going and then do stuff like drown it out in Marvel Universe continuity or make it as immature and colourful as possible and then wonder why they can't get something like Vertigo going. Son of Satan is such a great one to go ahead and do a Hellblazer type book with and instead they have the first story dwell on retconning his continuity followed by a two-part team-up with a off-brand Ghost Rider. It's basically the same thing every time they try, they will have an idea to begin with and then add something to it that will just defeat the purpose of aping Vertigo.

Seeing Kaminski’s name in a comic back then immediately told me it would be filler. I think Iron Man was the only book he was on for more than a few issues. He did a lot of inventory stories.

I think he wrote all of Ghost Rider 2099 (25 issues) and he writes most of Faate!!'s first series (18 issues with him as writer). War Machine, he writes the first year or so of that too. Everything else was cancelled or he was replaced.

This looks interesting. It looks like an attempt to attract the same readers as Vertigo. I plan on checking some of Len Kaminski's modern work out (if there is any). It looks like Kaminski works with Sir Andy Lanning often.
