The early X-Factor holds the most appeal for me. It does go a bit sideways after they have to start doing crossovers with Claremont’s X-Men, though.

So, by issue #9?

@@SonofCapwolf Touché. I was thinking Inferno specifically.

@@robert2430 Which would also align with when Walt stopped doing art. Although, I have some fondness for some of the ones when they come back to Earth after #50.

I got the entire Louise and Walter Simonson run from a comic dealer on eBay last year. Holy harpoons, it's really good!!

I do wonder how different things would have been if, following Walt's departure, the book locked in another obvious star. Maybe even if Bogdanove had became the regular immediately afterwards. Can't help but feel not having an actual regular artist for almost 30 issues made it very easy to revamp the team completely with #71.

Wait, how is Jean Grey a (w)hore? If I remember correctly, it was Cyclops who left his wife (Madelene Pryor) out of the blue, due to poor writing. Shouldn't he be the one we direct our ire at, instead?

Whenever she's with Cyke, the minute he is away or "dead" (or even just not looking e.g. New X-Men #117), she will be shagging Wolverine, Angel, Colossus, the new Thunderbird... whatever she can grab... yet then she has the gall to play the victim because Cyclops was afraid to tell her about him being married in the issues before this one.

Horrid woman. She can murder an entire planet and still claim to be the real victim and probably blames it on Scott.

@@SonofCapwolf Huh. Reminds me of what happened at the end of Wanda/Vision.
