DD did take off when he partnered with Elektra. Its such a highest of the high point that its worth some thought whe BW was ok but Elektra was the hit that made the sales go up.

The early issues of Miller, where Black Widow was still around, were just as interesting. Remember Bullseye attacking her? That's a great issue.

I think DD getting captured and rescued by BW might have been more interesting here. Subverting reader expectations or whatnot.

She does kinda get to kick Kraven again at the start of next issue and she gets claim it as a victory.

@@robert2430 Kraven also fought Tigra in Marvel Chillers 3, nobody loved that. Fill in issue, in a six issue(!) appearance, and it was bad. So bad.
