Small correction: At the very end (10:17), you said that the primary reason the vote passed was the promise of 10 bps. If you check the update channel you'll see the first mention of 10 bps is on 8/14, and the vote was announced back on 4/11. You might be getting confused with smart contracts since that was originally promised by the end of Q2, and got delayed on 6/28, but scrolling back and looking at comments at the time I'm not totally convinced that smart contracts were presented as a reason to vote "yes".

It's too much to keep up with, ideally would be great if all of these projects and their forks consolidate development resources in order to deal with potential attacks/crashing. But most crypto projects are "protected silos" of communities.

This is what will possibly happen to kaspa when they move to 10 blocks per sec. I don’t think it can stay decentralized at that throughput. It will be forks galore. Now back to 1 block per sec Hope folks aren’t betting the farm on kaspa
