Surprised that dev's have not implemented a way to limit the amount of hash rate per address. Small farms say under 60 or 70 GPUS's is acceptable but large farms with 1000 of GPU's would not be. (centralization bad).

I bet we find out it was a Kaspa foundation owned farm. The timing of the attack on Alephium was precise and purposeful. The secrecy behind it is very strong. If it was a regular farm of any kind without sinister intent it would be known of through word of mouth at the very least.

Or even better, make a Proof of balanced Work algo, which use RandomX on the CPU and ProgPOW on the GPU, Then we will be permanently done with FPGS, and ASICS, Then we are back to One CPU one vote.

Its worse than that. It can be fake hash using stratum bugs like changing difficulty and asking for more shares. You then return those extra shares extrapolated like you had more hashrate. You can use vps in aws to use then as proxy for these connections

This is not surprising and It's not good for crypto at all especially new projects. It will likely break many of the small projects at this point they should switch to an asic resistant algo or switch to kheavy or some other algorithms will many asic's available to the public.

@sonofatech Have you cheched into the Foundry Pool? It is based in the U.S. in a lot of states. It is a bit more bigger that antpool. Tin foil hat but is this the governments way to get into crypto?
