Marcesca hangs the wide players out to dry, there never seems to be anyone running past them. They either have to take one or two defenders on on their own, or pass it backwards. We play in front of the opposition defence, which makes it so easy for them. But that’s what Maresca wants. 🙄

It seems a long time ago we were a win away from overtaking Liverpool at the top of the table. Maresca has to take a lot of the blame. His constant insistence that we were not title contenders and that we were ahead of schedule has backfired and the young squad has taken that on board. I can’t see a Champions League spot with teams like Nottingham Forest over performing and if we do not win the Conference League it will be a disastrous season. Tonight’s performance certainly doesn’t give us confidence things will get better.

We are so weak. How many headers do we win outside of our penalty area? In the middle of the park nobody competes for headers, we seem to lose them all. Apart from 2 headers that we have scored from all season (and last by my memory) it's rubbish. All our play is all down the flanks. The opposition double up on our wingers and we pass backwards. No creativity through the middle. Our "style" is shite. Our pressing is weak and not worth while doing. They pinned us back with their pressing and panicked us. We are so soft and weak all over the pitch. W e need a Dunk in our defence to add some steel and responsibility. I feel that our young players and their values and ethics sums up the current state of the society. It's shite and gone to the dogs. No, experienced role models there. It's depressing to see for an old timer like me who has supported the club for nearly 60 years.... I'm a dinosaur, I know. But I just want my old club back with the values and player attitudes that was back in the day.

No matter how bad the club structure is the truth is in the results, we're getting progressively worse under Maresca's, players heads are dropping, lost confidence and don't look comfortable with what the being asked to do ... even games where we've won well often we've ridden our luck through the game .. Clear as day we need a proper top line manager and Maresca ain't one , I can think of at least 8 better managers in the premier League.
