Climbing mountains, changing locations quickly, fuel economy, many other reasons as well. Ultimately, it's because of the mobility. Large campers are like big boat anchors. It's difficult, or at a minimum cumbersome to up and move when things aren't great where I am. Stealth is a minor factor. The little hauler is cozy though. Insulated, carpeted, enough room for me and a pile of flying kit. I ask myself, "What more do I really need?"
