I don’t know the Sonos , never tried them but the Momentum 4 is a beast when it comes to sound signature.

I went with the momentum 4 and i love the sound qquality as well as the anc, a big underrated Feature is that it can Connect to 2 devices at the same time, in my case my Windows pc as well as my iPhone. I bought them for 200€. I won’t regret it.

I was thinking of buying the momentum4 for myself, but theres a lot of rifraf about the bugs, like wear detection and such. have you had any such problems?

@@iamnosa9354 i didn't experience any of the bugs, they probably got fixed with the software updates. The only thing i witnessed is accidently pressing the pause-button, because the touchfunctions are pretty sensitive yeah, but that happens once per day, not really worth mentioning in my personal opinion, overall, unbeatable price-performance-ratio.The design/ weight is not the best on the market, but it's solid. The battery life is probably from the future lol, I charge the M4 once per 2-3 weeks, I don't use them daily though.

@@lenovox1carbon664 Well yes, I heard of all the bugs, but they probably got fixed. I have no issues with the ANC, or connecting. The only minor issue I have is that the touchcontrols are really sensitive, and sometimes you pause, but only if you come near the controls, mostly to scratch your head or to adjust the headphones on your head. But overall, I love them. I also have to mention the battery, which is crazy, I got them for 2 months and charged them like 2-3 times up until now which is top notch. I also use Airpods Pro2.

The Momentum 4 sounded better than Ace but did not like the touch controls and cannot turn off the ANC on Momentum so returned them. The ANC did not handle fans well and was causing uneven pressure also.

Their approach to ANC is different ffrom others. Its like always on fearure. You can virtually off it when ANC transparency is in middle. BTW Why do you need to turn off completely, i thinks its just OCD

@@harshdeepk9 setting it in the middle does not turn it off and Sennheiser confirmed there is no off. Need to be able to turn it off if having sound issues

Never had the vertical case power on issue on my Sennheiser Momentum 4.

Idk how sonos blocks out more noise but definitely sounded louder and with more talking and higher noises breaking in than the other two.

Momentum 4 does have a much better touch controls than xm4 from my personal testing, I've never had it feel over sensitive, more features and it feels fluent. Volume up and down is quicker and doesn't feel bad to me it does a few clicks 10-15%~ at a time or can do most of not your whole volume in one swipe if you do a long swipe. Anc control transparency control, and double tap to transparency and pause instead of holding your hand there like xm4, it's nice actually. I don't know what to sensitive is, I'm usually frustrated with touch controls that are not sensitive enough or too sensitive, but these were easy to use right away. Yes I know you can hold on the XM4's to do volume much quicker but I don't feel it was as quick and responsive. I have added two stickers on the m4 where my finger swipes and it doesn't feel like it changed sensitivity, but maybe slightly.

You can also try to turn your earcups towards where you open the case and see if that stops it from turning on, for me I just turn them off sometimes and it's great. The 60 hours with anc is a I forget to charge them but they always have charge feature. 5 minutes can get quite a bit of charge from low.

Which should I buy xm4 or m4. Im getting xm4 for half the price of m4?

@@robbenvanpersie1562 probably xm4, I still kind of like the xm4 I just don't like it when listening at low volumes, it definitely isn't as good sound, but most people will like the features and comfort more generally. The bulkiness of the m4 works against it quite a bit, for doing most things not at home I'd use the xm4. I think for less people the m4 could be a lot better not just because of sound, however it's not always as comfy (lasts longer on my head but is slightly less comfy during the time that it is than the XM4's, which get tiring on my ears quicker). M4's have a bulky feeling sometimes, don't fold, don't look as sleek, and I put stickers on mine. I still returned my xm4 after a while just for my use case. The only thing is running with m4 isn't ideal for me. But the quiet comfort 2023's are actually pretty good for that, they need to be eq'd like treble minus a lot, but I prefer the sound to the XM4's at low volumes, at high volumes when eq'd there is more detail but they both get bloated bass in different ways. It's still good for workouts I think better, it's definitely more comfortable, but the material is not as nice feeling nor is it fashionable. Less features I think too, but it does exactly the job I want minus no speak to passthrough. I have no idea what you want them for but the xm4 is likely your best bet at half the price.

Does the cabin pressure on the momentum 4 is bad? I wanna know because I have some headphones that has this issue and it's preventing from using it, and I also have sony ult wear headphones and it doesn't have any cabin pressure so, is the momentum 4 can match up with my sony?
