I have a Beam Gen 1 with Symfonisk as rears to my my LG OLED 55C1. Very happy with the sound with that set-up for a while. I later added the Gen 3 Sub a year later and WOW! It was like an entirely different system with the sub. I finally upgraded the Symfonisk rears to One SLs at X-mas and didn't hear a noticeable difference in sound quality. I don't want to spend +$500 USD for the Era 100 after spending +$350 USD a few months ago on the One SLs and end up in the same place.

Great video. Sub and Like added. I have Sonos Arc + Sonos Sub on my two TVs (no room behind for rears) and am designing a Sonos speaker setup for my Mac computer room. I'm thinking of doing a stereo pair of Sonos Era 100s first and if the bass isn't acceptable, adding a sub. I realize that there will be an audio delay for video editing (I'll wear my headset for that) but will use the Era 100s for proofing my created content. What are your thoughts?

Collecting (or expanding) the Sonos family since they started (bought the first Connect approx 12 years ago), but fearing the day that some of the types will be discontinued (like the Connect). That will be expensive to replace.

I replaced my Harmon Kardon Invoke speaker with a Sonos One Gen 2 back when the HK Invoke was discontinued. But I never really liked the Sonos because the sound quality is noticeably inferior to the HK. I was hoping the Era would bring the quantity on par with the HK, but it doesn't seem like it's that much of an upgrade over the One. I also question why Sonos removed the ethernet port, since Wi-Fi is never as stable as ethernet. The other option I considered is the Era 300, but that price!! That's a lot of money for Atmos support (which isn't even designed for single speakers).

Depends whether you want a home theatre system where you would use these as surrounds or just for music, that choice is yours
