Sonos era 300 vs bookshelf speaker

got may pair yesterday.Spatial audio sounds GREAT. Music come out better than pair Homepod, better than my beam2 Sonos soundbar HT for me. Stereo is just OK. Is this Clip Dolby Atmos for your Era300?

@@nakamuraamon3154 thanks a lot. I tried 《Hero》by Mariah Carey both Dolby atmos and Lossless version. Different song play by era 300 pair. good dolby atmos clip is hell yeah~ feeling.

Did you listened to the song your playing in Dolby Atmos on the Era 300’s? I think these speakers are a big step up in WiFi cordless speakers. You should listen to the song “Boom” by Tiësto on one single Era 300. Half way into this song there’s a calm segment that shows what can be possible with Dolby Atmos. The music swirls around your head, it’s gimmicky but impressive this can be achieved with one single speaker. The ERA’s can’t compete with your reference set-up on a level we are used to, but this future sound from the Era’s playing the wright Dolby Atmos mix is very impressive. Getting used to that sound, makes it not always that easy to go back to stereo imo.

Yea I did as reply in your previous comment if got anymore of those do share with me…thanks for the recommendation.... it sounded great i do use a pair of era 300 against an sonos arc to compare era 300 do sound better than the arc in term of music listening....if can have 3 front era 300 and 2 back era 300 it might be awesome for music listening

Hi, I know it is not a fair comparison but how is the Triangle + KC62 compared to the Kantas?

The triangle are lack of bass the only strength is only great in vocal as it sound more natural, the background is not as details as compare to the bowers or dynaudio...as for the bass added in kc62 it will sound alot better and abit wider hence I use in bedroom I use it more for relaxing and jazz music...the kanta is a different level so can't really compare as it has better overall wider soundstage but if u compare against ls50 meta or etc the triangle does sound alot better as is brighter than darker ls50 meta sounding if compare to r3 meta those had better bass and midbass than those standalone triangles but added in those kc62 it covered it's lacking making it a better overall experience...

Mine also sound hollow and somewhat boomy compared to a set of higher-end floor standing speakers in A/B testing. Male voices sound like they're in a barrel. I've had to cut the bass by -4 to make them sound tolerable. Trueplay actually boosted rather than tamed the bass. Needless to say I'm not impressed given the money spent on the pair.

I like Sonos, but the musicality left the room when you switched to the ERA, as you might expect, not really apples to apples. The Five is much more accurate and musical if sound quality is more important than effects. IMO.

Sonos era 300 if u mainly want simple audio setup with streaming music services or spatial audio, b and w speaker for future upgrades like change of amplifier, network streamers, dacs and etc for tuning for a much detail sound which result in spending more money….so it depend on what you prefer? as Sonos era 300 u can’t change anything only the power cable which is able to remove…and some db adjustment

I just bought a pair Era 300 and really like them in stereo. Then you listen to this and realize what a real HiFi system can do. But then era talking about a system of 1k vs one of almost 10k. You get what you paid for.
