@HolyPhuckingBalls i believe he has one of the best voices on the tube, thats a great asset to have when making videos. he's also got a really good reply comment ability, short witty and can cut through a cheeky tuber real fast. without direct abuse, again a quality many don't have.

I might have been waiting over a year to see your footage of SitC 09 so I'm so happy you put this up. There I am in the front row, stood next to Alex who I'd drawn a parrot for but not met until that day. I remember singing along to every single word of Tom's songs. Same this year, same spot. Different t-shirt, same passion.

This video is evidence in itself of KZbin's sense of community. Not just the four guys coming together but how they all liked each other beforehand and how you dedicate time to commemorating that and how stressed techie shared footage...It all makes me wish I was more a part of the community, but sadly I just don't have the confidence to make videos like you guys. Still, both you and the sons have a dedicated fan, which has to count for something =)

This is brilliant! So heart warming! I love how you capture one of the things that I love the most about KZbin - EVERYONE can both see the show and be the show. We are all, so to say, equal. I've never considered myself a FAN of anyone on KZbin - the notion of FANDOM, it seems to me, belongs to a different and hierarchial media world - but I'm a PROUD SUBSCRIBER of quite a few, including you! I wish the Sons all the best - and you too! :D

Aah I love this :) I was there this year, btw, in the Luminaire! It was a great night :) That whole weekend was amazing. It was the first time ever meeting people of KZbin and it was great :) It really changed my YT experience for the better. I wish I could have been there in 2009. I'm looking forward to next year!

You really need to do these kinds of videos more often. Not that I don't love your other stuff, because I absolutely do - this was just beautiful though. I don't even know these people (outside of their youtube videos, of course) and have literally no attachment whatsoever to any of this, but it still brought a tear to my eye. The more I see how great youtube is as a community, the more I love it - and want to join it.

What a difference. Sadly I wasn't at SitC 2009 as I didn't hear of it until it was too late. Thanfully I was there this year though :) They are all genuinly nice people andI think they all have a great future ahead of them and I wish them every success.

Though I did read an article stating that right after Google's purchase in '07 there was about a 6 hr/min minute upload volume...which still seems to be on the "unmanageable" side. 6 vs. 24 hours? Hmm. But then, I suppose it's also becoming apparent that getting to the bottom of this topic probably isn't manageable 500 characters at a time ;)

@OrgasmandTea Dude, just give it a whirl. The worst that can happen is that you get some bad feedback and take the vid down so you're back at square one. The benefits (i.e. building confidence, getting into the community, getting a following and having some laughs) all totally out weigh the risks.
