I am loving watching this with you Jay. This is like my 12th time to watching SOA. When it came out we used to have SOA watch parties. Have watched it every Summer since then. My old man is like again as soon as school is out SOA is on. Get ready for a crazy ride it does get crazy and will make your heart hurt at times.

So yes, if you go back to when Hale visits Zobel’s daughter in the smoke shop. He tells her he will cut his arm and blame it on her, so she tells him about the meeting that her dad is having at the Christian center. When they walk outside and Hale tells Jax, if you notice when they are putting poly in the police car, she is smiling it was a set up all along from even her telling them the information

Kurt Sutter is a great writer. You haven't even begun to get to the good episodes yet. Normally TV shows start strong and slowly die down but SoA gets better as it progresses. I'm looking forward to you finding out where Juice gets his name from one day. On a different note, if you ever have a day off I highly recommend the series "The Bastard Executioner". It's another show by Kurt Sutter that only got 1 season, but in my opinion it was every bit as good as Sons.

7:15 - Jay, I hope you don't find out what losing your SO is like. It's a nightmare that you can't wake up from. I know, I lost my first wife to cancer 18 years ago. No, it wasn't a "sudden, violent" act like what Opie is dealing with, and there's a strong argument for "which is worse" as far as losing your spouse from both sides of that discussion (I've seen it debated on a Widow's forum a long time ago). Unexpected loss like that is horrible, as you constantly try to understand "WHY?!"..... in my case, it was a long, slow deterioration that leaves you with an insane level of helplessness because there's NOTHING you can do to stop it. All you can do it sit there and watch it happen. Opie, Martin Riggs from Lethal Weapon, Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars, Archie Bunker (from Archie's Place, post All in the Family).... all characters that I can relate to on that level. It also is an amazing credit to the actors who can pull that off when they haven't experienced it themselves. Being widowed changes you in ways you can't conceive of before it happens. Granted, I am remarried, and happily so..... but I still am not the same as I was before being widowed.

I won't say which of Billy Boy's plays this was directly based off of because that would possibly provide quite a bit of spoilers if you were to look it up. Your business is your own, but I feel like you might be getting a little demonized, Not directly, but via insinuation. The huge disparity between your subscribers and hers on your new channels, probably have something to do with that. There is nothing wrong with defending yourself. I enjoy SOA a lot, but one thing I hate about this show (and honestly, a lot of US shows and movies) is the "Irish" accents. As an Irishman, they make me cringe. There is no need for it. There are plenty of Irish actors out there. It's just lazy to still be doing that hokey shit for Irish or Scottish people.
