nice tips thanks, also appreciate the chapters so I can go back and rewatch when I need a refresh. Roof corners was awesome, I'll go back to an old build and tidy that up! The one thing I'd like to see is a way to line a gate, or better still double-gate, lined up with a grid, even if I have to build the gates first! cheers.

Probably the best building guide I have seen. I especially liked the deep water building tips, that is way better than other methods. Can the cannibals climb the stone walls? I haven't seen anyone use a full stone wall for defense.

Hey thank you, I appreciate your comment. The cannibals cannot climb the walls. Thankfully they’re very secure as long as they’re full height. Another thing I’d probably recommend so they don’t even get close to touching the wall is putting some sticks behind the wall and spiking them through the wall.

Yeah that’s flooding stairs were a bit of a pain in the ass at first, but I’m starting to get them down pat pretty well.

Wow, you’ve saved me about 12 hours with these tips. Especially the corner removal and beams. Btw - what mod, hack do you use to be able to have unlimited logs or stones? Ty

the most important tip - how do you do build with one log infinitly?

You just need to use the inbuilt game console command and just go into cheat stick and then you could add all log

At the time of recording this video which was before the release of the game we used a mod to remove the animations but now all you need is to be able to finish the game and go into creative mode I do have a video on how to use the mod if needed I’ll link it down below. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJTGoZ9uftR2jcUsi=o1N6P7X_XzYc1KHN

For tip #4 (the corner roof/deck), I have a 5x5 section in my base. 2nd floor of it has balconies on 3 sides, 5 squares horizontally wide. The balconies have quarter log railings on all sides, including the quarter/three quarter wall split to make the railing fit inside the adjacent wall. I built up full logs on 2 of 3 corners and made the corner balcony work. No matter what I try, I can't get the final corner balcony to connect like this. I know this game is all about the order of placement, but I have things built on top of the wall connected to the balcony. If I find a fix, I'll post it here in an edit. Great video, BTW.
