I love this new building system It might just be like a Lego but being able to cut logs and use them for buildings is just awesome. You can build whatever you want and make changes even after you finish, unlike The Forest where you need to destroy it and lose all those materials I'm having so much fun playing it... you can make stairs instead of ramps, basically when you're about to place the split log lengths, right click to toggle between sloped slats (like for ramps and roofs) and steps (i e stairs)

I have a small trick to have more space inside. You can use half-log to support under the main log for ceiling (there will be a curve icon showing to support right under it) , then remove the main pillar supporting that log. And ta-da, the room inside is more spacious now P/s: tks for the house idea. I will try it later

@@blu6 umm, it's the one for second floor. And of course that you'll need to connect surrounding logs for the second floor as well before removing the pillar (the one in the middle)

Я мод поставил на бревна в Конане. В общем то ситуацию исправляет, но частично. Там бревна 1го тира. Вообще в Конане уже около 40 модов навтыкал)

What needs to change is having a bigger room than a standard square. Without beams in the middle of everything..... You cannot have a roof bigger than the standard square without beams everywhere..... I love the new building system though hope they improve on it and also expand it to stone too.

You can actually put reinforcements between the vertical and horizontal logs that hold the ceiling. So you wont need all those beams

Как считаешь, можно ли построить дом коробку с крышей? Потратил несколько часов на вырубку леса, сделал фундамент, стены, при возведении потолка столкнулся с осложнением - сваи не убираются после того как делаешь квадраты из бревен для крыши. Хотел просторный первый этаж - в итоге все забито сваями(

building indoor stairs in this game is a pain. If you don't plan ahead you will not be able to go back and build them without tearing everything down.

So when I try to lay the diagonal logs down for the staircase it just doesn't let me. I've followed the exact steps in the video but a red symbol just pops up which I can only assume means that I can't place the log there. Any ideas why?
