I played the game with a 3060 and a 4070 and with both changing settings didn't give me a boost or lost of any performance on a 5600x I don't know if my cpu is shit or the game is

Yes, the TAA in this game is bad. I play with DLSS, and it's much better. This does not give a performance boost, since my game rests on the CPU, but DLSS looks much better. BUT to use DLSS, be sure to update it to the latest version. The DLSS in the game is a very old version, and the new version looks much better.

There IS a difference in Ambient Occlusion settings. Look at the right side - you can see a mutant on the tree. 3:42

i don't think the mutant is the case here. he was recording the video with a different setting on the same place but on a different occasion. it could be that when he was recording for the first time there were no mutant, but on the second time there were mutant.
