With much prayer for discernment I read the Ascension of Isaiah and the account on his being taken up to the 7th Heaven. I am so blessed and thankful to the Lord to hear the confirmation of the 7th Heaven again in this vision of Paul. Truly the Most High is gracious, patient and He has revealed all things to us and anyone who will seek. Paul heard the voice of Jesus on the road to Damascus yet the voice he hears in this book is that of a deity he never references as Christ. Then his visions seem copied right out of Dante’s Inferno. And none of these visions correspond with what 2 Ezra, 2 Baruch, Enoch, Job, John, Daniel, Ezekiel, Moses, or anyone else was shown. There aren’t even any scriptural parallels. Then he sees people standing outside the gate waiting on prayers of saints to let them enter in, that is the doctrine of purgatory. Then the red flags start showing up when the Eucharist is mentioned as being the actual and literal body and blood of Christ (which is a Vatican doctrine of man), and he sees all the major and minor prophets but doesn’t interact with them that much at all, nor does he interact with The Son of God, yet “the virgin” Mary comes with an army of angels and speaks to him??? Mary is not a virgin anymore, she was only a virgin until after Jesus was born, then she had children. The Roman catholics call her a virgin (which is biblically inaccurate and a sign of pagan influence). I disregard this book.

thank you for posting this and saving me from wasting my time listening. After a few quick online searches you will find this "book" to be influenced by the Gnostics. If you truly follow Jesus/God then you will understand what I am writing.

Isaiah 30:1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: Those words and heap sin upon sin, sounds like what God says in Isaiah 30:1 that they may add sin to sin. Of course there is what Paul wrote by the Spirit of Jesus Christ in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 where it says For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears and they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables.

Whee did all these come from ? How long have you all known about them. Do they alll tie together in a particular order ? I guess I don't understsnd completely. Were these what was left out of the bible. Were they meant to be included in it. I'll remain in prayer over it, but this is all new to me, yet this has been posted on here for 2 years. The Bible is enough. Read and study it fully and often. Some of these apocalypse books are heavy in mythos and early church doctrine... Not biblical. Pray. Ask God for discernment. IMO, this is not good. I wouldn't believe in this book. However I do read and study 1Enoch, Esdras, Baruch..to each their own. May YHWH bless you!
