I can't remember if you said it or not, however if you go to the menu into the first tab (camera icon) on the fourth page you will find a setting named white balance. You can click it if your in manual-mode. Click on it and go to the bottom, there is a setting named user-setup or something. Now photograph(/circle in the scrollwheel) a white piece of paper and the camera auto set up the white-balance for you. It also creates a new white balance option over the "auto set up option" :) PS: I didn't know that you can delete multiple photos at once. Nice!

I always enjoy your videos. Now here is a new challenge for you. I am attempting to use my Sony a6000 to copy 35mm negatives. IPad can be a light source and I have a tripod and negative holder but I need an E macro lens. Do you think the affordable Sony 30mm f/3.5 macro would let the camera get close enough to fill the frame and focus on film grain? Sorry for the hard question but I know you are up for the challenge. Thanks.
@kyletaggart4 жыл бұрын
The 30mm macro is a fantastic lens, but as far as filling the entire frame I’m not sure I know what you mean. I’m not sure you’d be able to shoot super close and have the entire frame in focus, possibly with a high F stop. I’ve heard good things about that macro lens. You can also checkout the Meike macro adapters. I have a video on those!

@kyletaggart4 жыл бұрын
Use Image Edge Mobile app. If you have the only Sony play memories app it won’t work. Also when the iPhone 11 came out there were issues. However I think everything is resolved now. Not 100% sure on that.

Hey Kyle, can you make a video tips on how to transfer raw file from camera to phone? Latest sony app can only transfer JPEG but can transfer JPEG file with a size of 5MB when you set the image size to original in the app. Thanks!

Can’t do it wirelessly. You need an adapter card adapter to your phone. If you have an iPhone it works really well (lightning to SD).

Hi can you make a video on how to shoot on low light with a6000 together with the lens of sigma 16mm and 30mm 😁
@kyletaggart4 жыл бұрын
There’s a limit to low light with an APSC camera. But some tips - low aperture (1.4), as slow of a shutter as you can (assuming you’re in manual mode), and keep the iso under 1600. The real key, is can you introduce artificial light, then do that. Of course that depends on the shoot.

Hi Kyle, so useful tips.Thanks so much for that.I also want to learn the meanings of some symbols/icons on the LCD of a6000.Of course we know the base setting's icon meanings(like base-cam settings) but some are not so familiar to us, like a shaky hand-camera icon just under the 24MP line.I mean why i do have that icon(even i dont hold the camera in my hand), how to avoid from that kind of warnings and so on?And what are the meanings of other similar not-always-seen icons? Thank you. Also another thank you for your all reviews for this camera.Because now i'm holding a brand new a6000(16-50/55-210 lenses) in my hands that i purchased just 2 days ago(i'm more into the bird-wildlife photography on a budget) after watching all of your videos and i already have a ton of knowledge about this great piece of tech. Anoter que: Do you recommend to install that well known non-sony-timelapse-intervelometer app to an a6000 with the latest firmware(i like to make timelapses too)?
@kyletaggart4 жыл бұрын
I have never used the time lapse app, but I’d say it’s ok if it’s got a ton of reviews. Also the hand icon - is to show you that the shutter speed may be too slow and camera shake could be caused due to the light available and the shutter speed set. As for other icons, I’d have to see them or have them described to me to tell ya!

I have a confussion between nikon 5600 and sony a6000 which is better?
@captsamsung3 жыл бұрын
I wasn't sure on which video (or even platform) I could ask this question. So I figured I would post it here. You may have already answered this question in another video, or you may not know the answer (which is okay too), but you know when you send your pictures from your camera to the Image mobile app (if you're using Sony) how do I keep my images in RAW? In my camera settings, I have it where it takes as RAW, but when I transfer the images, the are saved as a JEPEG. How do I keep that from happening? I hope I made sense.
@kyletaggart3 жыл бұрын
You can’t send the RAW images wirelessly. The process converts them to jpg. The RAW will still be on your memory card. I use an iPhone and I use a lightning to ad card adapter and transfer that way. When I’m not making a huge deal about quality, and know it’s just gonna life on the gram, I use the wifi transfer. 👍🏻
