What did you think of the side by side comparison with the LG C1.?
@reviewforthetube64852 жыл бұрын
I think the a80j did just as well for not supposedly being a gaming TV ahhaa. Also remember tons of settings for the a80j. Imo I prefer the versatility on image for the sony tvs. Also the a90j is truely brighter espeiclaly since you are a normal consumer using settings. That's where the a90j truely shines. Nobody shows that stuff though its always stock with everything off. There are many other things yoy can do Also that would surprised you down in the lower section of settings that most dont touch. But for sony to do that good with gaming and then give you the advantage with movies which does absolutely look better it's a win for me. I love my a90j so much.

For the sony to do that good with gaming and give you that advantage with movies I would always choose sony and this was just the a80j. The a90j used by normal consumers who utilize the settings will truely get the extra from it which nobody actually shows its always with everything shut off. The a90j is very bright for an oled and color is insanely good. It's truely the best I've used for movies and looks the best I've seen in games for sure. Even when comparing to my lg oled. The game mode disables (and many other tv picture settings) what you got an series x for, missing VRR, dolby vision and 120hz vrr. It still does not support Freesync after the update and it has a higher input lag with and without game mode enabled. I love the better HDR, but I can wait for the better OLEDs to come out from LG since they just announced the finally have a pur blue organic light-emitting diode, which should allow the LG OLEDs to perform like the new QLEDs without the extra help from quantum dots. I got the 55 inch C1 due to it having the 4 HDMI 2.1 ports and all of specs are available for next gen consoles and my pc video card. Shooting for that 77 inch C2 for a deal on the G1 version. @dangy7852 жыл бұрын
There’s a big problem with both A90J and A80J that reviewers skip over and I don’t understand why. HDTV test and many others don’t talk about this when it comes to gaming. Anyways I had a A90J and I bought it because of all the praise from channels like this. When I started gaming I noticed in literally about 2-3 mins tops the screen would dim over 40% almost. It was very very distracting and the entire point of being the “brightest” and most pop oled was lost and pointless. So the Sony tvs do NOT have a ability to turn off static logo dimming like the LG tvs have. And this would make it dim in 98% of games that had any HUD elements. This is a HUGE deal breaker and I think reviewers need to mention things like this so it helps consumers make a informed purchase. The LG C1 with no heat sink ends up being brighter because the Sony gets way darker than the C1 after 2 mins in any game. It’s really a huge deal and this needs to be mentioned. I hope Sony adds the ability to turn off logo dimming

Destiny is a good one to try or genshin impact. Look at the numbers or bars and you’ll notice a big dim after a while. Beating the whole point of the bright panel. Check it out when u can. I bet they enable it for the PS5, but it will be gimped in some way. The PS5 does not an RDNA2 gpu, anything before RDNA2 does not have HDMI 2.1, but they problably will let the HDMI 2.1 chipset that they put in the TV or PS5 do the work. Budget wise I can afford upto 400-500USD(50000 INR). SO Please suggest.
@coreyharrell90792 жыл бұрын
@@gauravdighe4117 I have both, right now the series s would likely be the best value due to you being able to try a month out on gamepass which has 100s of games for you to play. The console is all digital so you would buy games that are not on Gamepass from the store or online with gift cards or your debit card. The PS5 has a digital and a disc version one being 100 bucks over the non disc version. The PS5 is getting the subscription service revamped the next couple of months, it won't be entirely like Xboxs but you have an option. Gamepass is likey the best deal in gaming due to the amount of games and quality first party games that drop on day one. PS5 is the more expensive route, but they have a good game collection, they just make you jump through hoops to play the previous generations titles. But since your going digital both consoles older games are accessible in more than one way. If you look hard enough you can likely find an Xbox Series S for under $260 in some places, you may even find someone selling one even cheaper. Now when it comes to the Series X or the PS5 they are selling for MSRP or higher. If your a casual gamer, I would find the cheapest Series S and try gamepass for free or either $1 for a month. Hopefully by the time you get to splurge on a better TV, the prices for both high end consoles would have dropped. You need to check out the Hisense U8G, it better reviews on rtings.com and across many sites and its rated higher than the X80 and up series. It also had a 120hz panel.
