I recently got one (55”) and I’m liking everything I’ve seen and used so far. Just wish I had wifi to use it to its best capabilities as I recently moved house so hopefully I’ll have wifi in the next few days. The stand was easy to fit even without a guide which shows how simple it is to fix. My only problem is that it uses up a lot of energy so may have to cut back on Tv/games time from what I’m normally used to as well.

Wonder if you can notice the input lag difference of 10ms of the LG G2 and the 18ms of the Sony A95k in call of duty for example ?also do picture modes share the same settings or are they completely separate, can I change setting in sdr and it will not alter hdr settings ? Thanks
@RobsRemixes Жыл бұрын
At 120FPS that drops to 7-8ms on the A95K, 10-18ms is basically impossible to notice, personally I would only notice a gap larger than 10 ms and even at that it’s still VERY hard to detect.

Is a95k way better then LG G2?
@danbryan54422 жыл бұрын
The overall picture yes. But gaming no the G2 is far superior. Also after a couple month use then getting the G2 properly calibrated by a professional calibrator makes the picture quality around 90-95% of the a95k. The Sony will have slightly more pop and realism but the LG gets much brighter overall and the realism is really there after full calibration and before. If you watch mostly Netflix etc the hdr 10 and Dolby vision are enough. The more HDMI ports on the g2 is more helpful if you have two consoles and a sound bar and then want to add a pc. QD OLED is a massive step up. If you’re a dedicated gamer on your tv get the lg g2 if you like your movies a lot more and a bit more realism and life to SDR and movies get the sony a95k

Samsung S95B blows this TV out the water when it comes to Gaming/Response Time/Price. If you have infinite cash, you can get a Sony A95K, which is the same panel as the S95B but 2x the price and is worse at gaming (lag and no 144 Hz) but has Dolby Vision. Dynamic metadata is important, but HDR10+ has that and is an open standard which the S95B has.

No sane person is buying this for gaming only. This tv blows the s95b water in literally every other category. Also hdr10+ looks like shit that’s why it hasn’t been universally adopted yet
