I've had an LG CX for three years now. It's in a living room with a big window. Never had a problem with the light in the room. I have absolutely no burn-in so far after hundreds of hours of gaming. The picture quality is incredible. It's extremely responsive. Even the built-in speakers are great sounding. No complaints whatsoever. LED doesn't really seem special even when compared with my OLED of three years. Maybe it's just more affordable?

I currently have another Sony 65" and i am upgrading to this X93L (Kids will be happy to inherit my old Sony as theyll be going from al old 32" to a 65"..lol). I wanted to go bigger and get a 75" but for the price i ended getting the 65" plus a HT-A5000 sound bar and still saved about $200 Vs going with the 75". Good review. I gotta say that you are the only reviewer that did not say that the blooming was a problem on the 65” model. A lot of reviewers and forums have confirmed lower contrast and more blooming on the 65” and 75” models vs better contrast and less blooming on the 85”.
@MadViking82 Жыл бұрын
Had X95K 65" for 7 months now, and I can say you can see the blooming if you look for it, and even often times when you don't. However, I would not say it is "a problem". I'd say it is there, but when you play games or watch movies, or use desktop, you simply forget it. For example, my family and friends have never seen the blooming (even if it is right in front of them), because normal people just do not focus on stuff like that. If the HDR content is well done, for example in DV Dark, you really won't focus on it. The VRR mode is super flickery though on Nvidia cards. But overall, it's a really good TV. Often times stunning and incredibly accurate. I will upgrade to X95N 85" in 2025 though.
@reviewforthetube6485 Жыл бұрын
It is there no matter what he's said its very noticeable. But people do have issues with cranking the settings up if thwy would lower them a bit led will always look better with settings lowered then pushed to its max due to less blooming.

I got this thing instead of an OLED because of a review, and the blooming is so minimal it's virtually nonexistent. The brightness isn't necessary for where I have my tv and at night it can get a little wild, but the picture is incredible. Sony does color different and out of the box settings are so good for the first time I haven't been annoyed by factory settings, literally the first time ever. ...and the sound. Not sure I'll ever give another brand a chance after this thing.

Not an expert on TVs, but our Sony A90K is more than adequate for PS5 and movies (not as bright as LED and related variants, but prefer the color depth). Side note: unless the backside of that TV stand is open (doesn't look like it), that poor PS5 is gonna have a rough time with ventilation.

Depends on where you are watching it. In a bright living room with lots of windows, mini led. In a more light controlled room oled. I love my 83 inch oled. Video Summary: Mike introduces the Sony Bravia XR X93L Mini LED TV, specifically the 65-inch model. He mentions that the TV was provided by Sony for review, and he will provide an unbiased opinion. The TV can be set up in three different positions to match various consoles or placements. Picture Quality: Sony uses its cognitive processor XR for image processing, resulting in vibrant colors and clarity. The TV excels in displaying content that supports HDR or Dolby Vision, with impressive gradient handling. Mini LED technology allows for deeper blacks, brighter colors, and better contrast compared to OLED. Even older non-4K content looks good when upscaled. Impressive black levels and minimal blooming, especially in dark scenes. The TV is great for well-lit rooms as it can get very bright. Some reflection issues when viewing at an angle, but Sony's X anti-reflective technology helps reduce reflections when viewed directly. Gaming: The TV has four HDMI ports, with two supporting 4K 120Hz for gaming. Mike used the TV for gaming on a PS5, and it delivered a smooth and detailed gaming experience. The TV automatically detects when a gaming console is active and enables gamer mode to minimize input lag and enable variable refresh rates. The TV's gaming performance as a PC monitor is also impressive, with low input lag. Audio Features: The TV comes with two mid-range drivers, two tweeters, and two woofers built-in. Mike demonstrates the TV's speaker settings, which can be controlled from the TV menu. A unique feature is the acoustic center sync, which makes the sound feel like it's coming from the TV itself. The TV integrates with external speakers and provides options for customization. Operating System and Voice Control: The TV runs on Google TV, with fast and responsive navigation. Google Assistant can be used to control the TV with voice commands. Privacy is protected with a physical switch to turn the mic on and off. The TV has an ambient sensor that adjusts brightness based on lighting conditions. A "Living Decor" feature serves as a screensaver with attractive images. Special Features: The remote includes shortcuts to popular streaming apps, including Crunchyroll and Bravia Core, which offers free Sony movie streaming with credits. Overall Impressions: After using the TV for a month, Mike is impressed with its mini LED display, which provides advantages similar to OLED without the risk of burn-in. He highlights the TV's design and its suitability for use as a PC monitor for gaming and work. In summary, the Sony Bravia XR X93L Mini LED 4K TV offers impressive picture quality, gaming performance, audio features, and smart functionality, making it a strong contender in the TV market.

The bad thing about Mini LED is the game mode; it basically turns off much of the algorithm for the dimming of the zones, so you don’t get the contrast that would get when watching videos. You don’t have to worry about that with OLED, because it does not need to waste processing power to figure out the dark parts or bright parts.

Under 77' mini led and qled TVs have a hard time with bloom and contrast. When looking at that tv vs the a95l OLED or even the Samsung q90 (both qd OLED) in 65' or below it falls off a clif in comparison. The full array dimming isn't as big an issue when you have a larger screen.... 65' and smaller have a hard time in some instances, the OLED per pixel "dimming" is noticable. Was looking at that x93l but the rep sold me on the a95l, he "demo ed" the two side by side for me and got me...

When I was a kid Star Wars came out. It blew us all away so much so that people went back several times to see it again. In today’s technology, that movie was child’s play. The TV used to have rabbit ears as an antenna. Now we’re not happy unless we have a 4k picture.
@WhoaMykey Жыл бұрын
I love the best tech and it ages like fine wine (LCD/led) plasma was hot until LCD caught up then oled but now mini/micro led will beat it in the long run. Burn in and crushing darks in contrast will be the undoing of oled. It’s pretty but doesn’t hit hdr the same and retains static images longer if you’re pc using/same game gaming or watching tv. Static images and that image retention takes us out of the submersion. If video Wallpaper is what you’re going for then jump on oled but if you want the best tech without worrying about countless hours of content or static content then mini led is it.
@trendyprojectors4743 Жыл бұрын
OLED TVs excel in delivering stunning picture quality with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and perfect contrast. Their self-lighting pixels allow for precise control over each pixel's brightness and color, resulting in an immersive viewing experience. However, OLED TVs are susceptible to burn-in, where static images can become permanently imprinted on the screen. This can be a concern for users who watch content with static elements, such as news tickers or video game HUDs.

To get rid of the burn-in issue, don't leave your TV on a static image for extended periods. This includes news channels, video games, and even computer screensavers.

The X90L is a steal, saw it at a friend's & it is nice...

Hey we just got the 75 inch 95K but we noticed the lights in the background have this rainbow line across the TV in the dark colors like you said in the dark is amazing but when we open the curtains we can see the background but with rainbow colors extra bonus anything to minimize this?

Final fantasy XVI has a performance mode. I reckon there's a chance you've beaten it by now I'm probably late lol.

Had a LG CX for 2-3 years and have burn in where my wife plays Minecraft. I won’t be spending that much money on oled again. It’s actually got me looking at he Hisense u8k.

Do Sony tvs still do that weird black screen issue when you have external speakers connected?
