Samsung S95B 65” $2299 @ Best Buy. Nothing in the world on the Sony is worth $1700 more. It’s literally the same exact technology, only difference being the A95K is calibrated ($3-500) more and an argument for motion processing. On the other hand the S95B is brighter, supports 4 hdmi 2.1 and is a much better gaming tv.

If you still have the S95B, can you make a side by side comparison of the 2 please? Like showing how they look out of the box, in standard, cinema, film maker, game mode. I always hear that samsung over saturate the colors so I am curious on how these 2 compare. Also, who is brighter in SDR? This tv or S95B? As S95B is brighter in HDR but strangely in linus tech tips video of the A95K, it was brighter in SDR than the S95B

@@pioneer2321 completely false. You’re comparing tv’s not pictures. The Sony processing is light years ahead of the Samsung. The motion is smooth and natural. The Samsung is always either juddery or soap opera effect. There is no way to hone it in. And the Sony has much less black crush and noticeably better shadow detail. The Sony has much better sound and build quality as well. It’s not even close.

If brightness and excessive vividness are your preferences , I’m surprised you picked the Sony over the Samsung since the latter does get brighter and is more vivid . I think TEch with KG or all about tkk might be making a settings video , might be worth checking out

First Impressions I love the quality control on the Sony. It is really a heavy TV because of the stand and also the panel and panel support with all the design in the back. Now about dolby vision and hdr accuracy is amazing on the A95K out of the box. Samsung takes in on the price performance level and it is already on sale, like a 2299 for 65" whereas Sony 55" is $3000. In the end if you have more money then Sony A95K is full package without missing out on Dolby Vision and also worth mentioning Bravia Core and built in speakers.

Both are amazing. At price S95B is amazing right now. If you game more and not worried about slightly color inaccuracies then S95B will be amazing given that 65" is at $2299. This 55" sony a95K is $3000 plus tax. You can tell difference when both TVs are side by side. Both are crazy bright and colorful. Ah it is hard to choose sometimes. If you have money to spend on Sony then go for it. You won't need a soundbar and it has dolby vision which samsung doesn't.

Lol you can say that all you want but specs don't tell you everything. Tkk makes great videos talking about how he games just as good on the a95k. Now his titles are usually about what comments say or ask but listen to waht he says. He owns the lg, Samsung ans sony tvs all together and yeah a95k games great! Just like the a90j did its just people think oh it doesn't have this or that so ir can't. That's not true st all. Not to mention sony motion processing really really helps gaming and its image qaulity is also great to see while gaming. Motion matters as much as everything else and you can tell its such an amazing experience when gaming. I mean it has vrr out of the box now also. So all of rhe things people asked for sony gave it finally. It just doesn't do Dolby gaming but tbh that doesn't matter for competative gamers.

@@MyGadgetsWorld of course it's behind as I said in specs. But when it comes down to real gameplay you arent noticing it like people make it out. Tkk is a very competative gamer and so am I. Both of us have no issues gaming with sony, I'm a top ten player in ufc5 and a top 500 in call of duty. It hasn't hurt my performance at all. That's why I feel people over harp this stuff. Especially if you sre a console gamer it shouldn't even be on your mind. Consoles are 85 percent locked frames vrr does almost nothing for them and Dolby vision gaming isn't better then hdr10 gaming as I'm sure you know also. So yesh my point is if you are worried about gaming you shouldn't be with this tv. Not to mention sony has an advantage in motion and I feel it plays a big part in gaming and really helps out due to the motion processing being able to keep up with the demand from the game which is something I never see any reviewers talk about. It's pretty logical good motion would help with gaming.

9 feet away I will go with a bigger TV than 65". If you are going to be in dark dedicated media room then A80K 77" would be a better choice.

The size difference is far far far more impactful than the picture quality a 65 inch TV, bear in mind the A80k is also a fantastic TV on it’s own. If you get a 77 inch TV you will NEVER go back to a 65 inch TV. 77 inch will be perfect for your viewing distance of 9 feet. I wish I had gone for the 83 inch as I sit 10.5 feet way and I am already too used to the 77 inch size that it now looks too small

Wow, the Sony A95K OLED looks fantastic. I purchased the Samsung S95B OLED in April 2022 for $2,199.99, and it only comes in 55 inch and 65 inch like the Sony. I definitely don't like the stand on the Sony A95K QD-OLED because it would NOT sit on my television stand. I prefer the center stand like I have on the Samsung S95B. Both the Sony and Samsung OLED's are expensive televisions, however, Sony is more expensive than the Samsung. If you can afford it, treat yourself because you only have one life to live. My new 2022 Samsung S95B OLED was an early birthday present to myself. There are 4 HDMI 2.1 ports on the Samsung S95B. I don't like the camera feature on the Sony A95K television because I would only use my television only to watch baseball, television series, Netflix, and Amazon Prime movies. The picture quality on this Sony OLED looks fantastic. With that being said, I still prefer having my Samsung 2022 S95B OLED with it's center stand and 4HDMI 2.1 ports. 😀 😃 😄 😁 I enjoyed seeing you putting your new Sony A95K 4K television together and your review.

Unfortunately, I live in an apartment building and I wouldn't want to mount the television to the wall due to a possible water leak from the unit above. This is the disadvantage living in an apartment oppose to a home. Other tenants are not as responsible sometimes causing water leaks coming from their unit damaging another unit. This has happened to me in 2008 while I was out of town at Christmas. The resident manager was able to pick up my new flat screen television moving it into the kitchen so it wouldn't be damaged from the major water leak from the unit above. If my flat screen had been mounted on the wall, it would have been damaged.

Agree with your concerns. Sony needs an up to date SOC with 4xhdmi2.1 akin to Samsung. The screen needs to have the black finish and not dark grey, the TV needs to sit upright and also needs another couple of hundred extra nits peak brightness, again akin to Samsung at launch. Then when the 65" is on sale at around £2,000 I'd be very interested.

Samsung S95B QD OLED has some raised black issues, even in lil ambient lighting. 🤨 Is this Sony QD Oled has such issues. I want to enjoy perfect pitch blacks even in a well lit room. 🤔

la lz 2000 panasonic est pour moi le meilleur oled ! 7.8 ms jeux 4K , 1044 nits , son extraordinaire! colometrie d une justesse enorme! hcx encore amelioré ! le sony est meilleur en steaming ,telecommande , dalle reflets, est couleurs plus punchy mais plus naturel??????????

Sony makes the best TVs but they suck at stands your going to need an extra big stand to sit this tv on and take the weight apparently the new Panasonic LZ series is supposed to be pretty good shame they don’t sale then in the us so you can compare it to this Sony

its not worth the price only 2 hdmi 2.1 still has 2020 media tech chipset brightness less dimmer than s95b cannot place soundbar front of the tv stand is weak no game bar not worth extra $1000 s95b all the way

For gaming S95B at 1899 is amazing price for 55 inch and 2299 for 65".

i don't like that it is not in a straight position but rather tilted. even in this youtube video, it is quite evident that the tv is not straight and knowing that fact is pretty annoying.

@@marinac7676 i made a visit to a jbhifi store in Melbourne and found out that it is not bad at all, the tilt is almost unnoticeable. still, the price is way too expensive.

You need to learn how to calibrate your tvs before that you are only comparing picture modes who will take that serious? also why pay for 3K$ ofr 900 Nits when you can get 1400 Nits cheaper ;)?
