If you buy an HTA5000 or HTA7000 soundbar to go along with this TV then the issue with there being only 2 HDMI 2.1 ports goes away as both of these soundbars have a full HDMI 2.1 passthrough.

The processing power blows every other tv out so with the QC of Sony and processing it’s worth the price. The G3 is amazing but it has its limitations as well.

Could someone advise how a HDMI switch would work with the Sony? Would it save picture settings for each thing, for example if had different settings for my ps5 & Xbox, using the switch would the TV be able to recognise this and apply the settings? Or would it use the same settings all the time for each thing and I would have to change each time depending what I was using? Regards, confused person.

No. But it’s a great tv. Have a C2 83” and a A95L 55”. The 95l is technically brighter, but it doesn’t feel that way when you’re watching them. The LG C2 never ever felt dim, in fact I’ve turned the brightness down at night time as it feels to bright at times. The Sonys colors are brighter, but it’s a small difference.

A95l will not allow you to use both Dolby vision and VRR 120hz on same input. Meaning if you have a receiver (marantz cinema 50) passing 120hz PS5 VRR on same HDMI to TV with Apple TV dolby vision/ Oppo Bluray player passing Dolby Vision you will not be able to use one input without going into Sony A95l tv setting each and every time to change the hdmi signal from 120hz on and off.

Some people are less price sensitive and don't care and just want the best. If you make 250k a year then buying a $5000 TV is a decision that wouldn't matter much to you.

The A95L is way over priced and over hyped!!. Get a G3, A80L, S95C, or a C3. These other 4 TVs are all INCREDIBLE and are all at their lowest price till the 2024 models come out in April. I just saved $600.00 on a C3 today and it's AMAZ-Z-ZING! Save many hundreds of bucks and get one now!!

I’m sorry this TV in 77inch size is not worth $5k. You can buy 2 count ‘em 2 of S89C Samsung at $1799 and the S89C will give you just as much TV as the A95L. The S89C is also a better gaming rig than the A95L. Sorry this is a hard pass.

Samsung doesn’t have Dolby vision, there cheaper cause they know there fake because there firmware updates ruining the brightness not like before, Sony and lg are true hard workers and they work for there cost hard , they give a more premium and durable package than Samsungs

I've seen the 77A95L ($5000) ight next to the 77S95C ($3500). Does the Sony have better picture quality than the Samsung? Yes especially if you are very very close and pixel peeping. Is it a $1500 difference? Absolutely not. I didn't see $1500 more quality over the Samsung. Everyone can make their own decision but wealth isn't created, preserved and expanded by foolishly spending extra money.
