You can if you reverse the tripod adapter. It May look a bit awkward, but it does work.

Well done and professionally review thank you we have several Sony action cameras a nice feature is that you can connect several cameras to the remote and shoot and operate the same time the worst thing with this model are that the tripod adapter covets the external microphone jack 🤢

I’ve actually had good luck by turning the tripod adapter around enabling me to plug in a microphone while using a tripod.

I bought it a week ago (hdr-as200vt). It exceeded my expectations. I got mine for 230€ and it comes with few mounts, lens protection, remote control and two batteries. My SD card is SanDisk Extreme PRO 64GB (I bought it for 21€).

Yes. Sony makes digital handycam 30x optical zoom optical stabilization about same price Fdr x3000 no zoom just wide view. Lot need plastic retro fix lens

I like this action camera. About $450. Go pro hero 5 about $100 less. Think I like colors on Sony got vacation coming.

Older camera, yes indeed, BUT still a great little camera that records superb video imo.
