This is all good but it will never look like the Frame if images don't have a frame. I think the first developer who creates an android photo slide show, that can add beautiful frames to images will get rich! :-)

great video - have a question - does the schedule actually work on a TV? I have setup many tablets - a tablet completely turns off and then back on per the schedule, how does a Google TV handle this? or is it just go to a amber sleep mode and if it never turns off the fotoo app will run again? If TV is off will the schedule turn on the TV and run the Fotoo app automatically without someone turning on the TV with remote or button?

Thanks for this. ...very helpful... but what really helps to make a picture look authentic on the wall is the different size of mount around the picture, between the image and the frame edge. Can you advise if this is possible at all?

I completely understand what you mean. However, it doesn't appear to be a direct feature of the illustrated apps in my guide. So the only way to achieve this effect would be to literally import a photo of choice into some sort of image editor like photoshop and add the border yourself manually. Not ideal, but I guess if you really want it, this would be at least one way to do it. I'll do some research and see if I can find anything to help.

How to add frame to photos? Without the frame effect this could never get anywhere close to Samsung. Because with frame it is so great that one can easily mistake the TV with picture frame.

This is already very good. Thank you for showing this. Is it really just for photos or can you also select video files? (would be nice to have some subtle animations like with Samsung's ambient mode) I assume there aren't many options to customize the weather decoration? (position, style, size)

Hey brother man, great videos on this. I wanted to know how "dim" the display will get in ambient mode. I am trying to achieve something like the google home display. In a dark room something that is not very noticeable.

Hi, I used to use the built in app in Sony tv to play my photos and videos, now that the files and folders got large I can’t any more. can I use fotoo to play my personal photos from external hard drive ( unlimited sizes).

If you have access to Photoshop or similar, you could set up a batch Action to scale the image a little, add a matte, and save to a folder.

The one in the video is the Sony 65AF9 Master Series OLED Television. However, the steps I've showed should work with any Sony Android TV.
