Disclaimer I shopped all of these TVs, fell in love with the A95L and the Bravia 9, but ended up buying a 75" X90L for.. $749, which was just too ridiculous of a deal to pass up, and after a month with it, I'm glad I did. The Bravia 7 is a great TV but you're badly underestimating the X90L. The gap there is small (full array vs mini LED). You still get 120 Hz and the XR processor (which is what you really want). I also think the X90L is already plenty bright. You can get some amazing deals on the X90L too if you shop around. That said, the Bravia 7 is the sweet spot for price / performance if you cannot find an X90Lmdeal like I did. It's also being discounted pretty well now. You are right about the A95L - it's also a carryover but it's amazing. The sticker shock though. It's too much. Get a Bravia 7 or 9 instead. The viewing angle criticism is way overblown unless you are in a really wide room.

KG, I learned about reality creation on the Bravia sets from your channel. And as one of the few (if not only) that has shown and delved into that feature, I wonder now that you own a PS5 Pro how the pssr compares to reality creation. It would be interesting to hear of your thoughts, I understand how different they may approach boosting that resolution but by how much of a difference?

the seven was always a better buy over the 9, I think the technology bump wasn't worth the cost at least not yet, sadly my Bravia 7 65 had a few issues so I decided to take a discount that I received on that item and go with Bravia 8 55.

I bought an 83 A80L instead of one of the 77 inch oleds. I did not want to pay full price for the A95L. The 83 A80L can brighten a completely dark room and it can still flashbang you going from really dark content to white content. I can't really imagine wanting something brighter in a dark room.

Thanks! I would say if you upgrade from that TV at least go QD OLED so you don’t feel color brightness loss when gaming. I play sports games and watch sports I never had an issue with burn in with any of my long term TVs.

The Bravia 7 at 85" being the same price as the 65" B9. Not thanks. I will take the 85" 7. I bought the Bravia 8 77". I've had it a few days. Like it. I still think the 77" B8 is overpriced. it should be $2199 like the S90D 77". It's Not "better" than the S90D. I am considering returning it and getting the S90D to save the $400

Been waiting for a 75" B9 price drop. It doesn't seem to be budging. I thought once word got out the B7 and B9 aren't that far apart in PQ, Sony would have agreed that the B9 is overpriced and did something about it. Doesn't look like it.
@TechWithKG21 сағат бұрын
Its a weird thing that they didn’t maybe they still will who knows 🤷🏻♂️ 85” for $500 more seems like the better buy if thats what your set at otherwise id just say grab the 7 unless 85” is too big then better yet go for a 77” OLED.
@suedepup21 сағат бұрын
@ I'm cursed. I have a protruding wall that fits a 75" television exactly. And as you know, OLEDs (for some reason) skip 75" and hit you with 77" which would poke out the sides. (sigh)

would you consider the Bravia 9 superior to the lg CX oled? Planning to get a new tv
@TechWithKG21 сағат бұрын
Not with contrast in mind, brightness yes, color yes, but you will lose the contrast advantages which most viewers say is what matters most in picture quality, your best bet coming from a W OLED is to jump to a QD OLED.

@@TechWithKGI watch sports 90% of the time. For this reason, would the qd oleds still outperform the Bravia 9? One thing that I hate about the oleds are the full field brightness that dims down over a period of time when watching sports

Struggling between the B7 and the Panasonic w95a, idc what Rtings said. The two look really close on Caleb’s review, and it looks really good on Brian’s review too. I already own the Theater Quad’s and love Center Sync 2, just hard to justify that $400 dollar difference between the two.
@Marbaruch19 сағат бұрын
I tried both, Panasonic might be slightly more pleasant but you have to put up with the crappy fire tv remote and interface. I much prefer the classy Sony remote and Google TV.
@toml395517 сағат бұрын
I use Apple TV, so I could care less ab the interface. I think they’re mostly equal, with Sony getting the edge on processing, but only slightly. I might just get w95a and not look back.
@TravionMusic17 сағат бұрын
@@toml3955 same here, I’ll be using the AppleTV. Which in my opinion, has a clarity that makes almost every TV just a tad bit better lol. I might end up doing the same. A part of me also prefer 100 percent glossy over semi gloss

Bravia3 65" is a VA Panel with native contrast of nearly 4000:1. Most of the time you won't be able to tell a difference between Bravia3 vs Bravia7 in a Dark room playing 4K HDR Content. The only problem with Bravia3 or 7 or any SONY TV for that matter is DSE - DIRTY SCREEN EFFECT Grey Screen Uniformity - Sony's the Worst in it - and it's Unacceptable from Sony‼
