Unique device, Scott. From vid title my first take was that this was a camera case that doubles as a battery charger - a bit confusing. What is the weight of the unit compared, say, to carrying (just) 4 Sony batteries that have been pre-charged? Am also unclear on display when charging two batteries - one center number and two flanking led scales.

Sorry, I didn't explain things amazingly well. The large percentage number is the device's own charge state. The two sets of scales on the sides of the big number are the charge state of the two battery ports if they are filled. Their design is such that it won't automatically charge if not connected to a USB source unless you press the button, so it can kinda act as a case. I have seen some of their other devices have storage for cards and such but these don't. Overall it's pretty heavy itself. If weight is a concern then I wouldn't go for something like this.

I will stick with Jupio Tri-Charge, which was designed by Peter Lindgren. It's really well thought out, and seems robust. It stores SD cards, even micro sd cards. it can charger a device too, but what differs is that it's not a traditional battery bank, as it uses the camera batteries for charging the device, But this also means one can charge a 3rd battery. The size is about the same width wise, but it's not as thick, no spring fatigue to worry about, no door in the way. One simply slide in the batteries, and push them out. But it can only charge one device. But If I need to charge other devices I have an heavy duty iWalk Spartan Powerbank 13000mAh I can use. Which I bring If I know I already have too little battery on my phone, and camera batteries aren't fully charged, or one in camera isn't. This assurers I won't have an issue. otherwise I won't bring it, as it's heavy. But I guess I could even charger the Jupio charger from it, but haven't tried it.

It sounds interesting. Though, a different set of use cases and that should have more long term reliability considering it doesn't have its own internal battery.

@ScottJWaldron The prices isn't too bad. I bought it without hesitation. Been happy with it so far. No complaints.
