Problem is that Venom (A movie that is not good, it just has a weird Tom Hardy performance) made 800 million dollars on a $100 million dollar budget. I’ve always agreed with that idea, my childhood friend of mine and I came up with our own original Marvel universe set between the 60s to 90s mainly to keep the characters in a distinguishable setting. X-Men and Fantastic Four belong in the 60s and 70s. OG Avengers 70s to 80, New Avengers in the 90s. Spider-Man, Daredevil, and all the street level crime fighters, vigilantes, belong in the 80s, and 90s. A period peace focusing on each characters particular atmosphere and tone without being looped into the same outlandish world that the mcu and the dumbass Sony projects have fallen into. I’m not even a college student and I can write my own film/tv concepts for each and every marvel character because I genuinely love the IP’s and would rather serve the fans, regardless of the story is a little predictable. There are so many countless amazing Marvel stories I want to see come to life, I’m tired of these modern dumb down Gen Z version of the characters, I want to go back to good old fashioned character pieces.
