I bought this way back when, when it first came out, I needed something small that I could put in my pocket, and I have been using it almost every day for taking quick photos. I forgot how long I had this camera. Well, it finial done its last shot. So, I ordered another one. This is an exactly compact camera. Two thumbs up. Great videos. D. Rice

I bought this two year back however used it rarely. Most of the time I use my iphone XR to click image or shoot video. But now on I'll be using this after watching ur videos on this, at least I'll be able to use my phone for other purposes and it will also save the space of my phone as well. I’m not sure but I guess it should be able to do the job… I filmed my old KZbin videos using that camera and I have some video tests of that camera also posted on my channel !

No problem, you can look for the charging cable by searching for the camera’s model ( DSC-W830 Charger ). I’m not sure what the cable is called but you should be able to find one on the internet. 😃👍

@Jude zoom can be done in video mode. The cable is a standard USB Type-A connector on one end and a USB Mini (8-pin) connector on the other.

When you connect the camera to the computer, are the photos in the DCIM folder the same as what’s in the SD? Do I need an SD to USB adapter to access what’s on the SD, or do I just plug in the camera to access what’s on the SD because the SD is in the camera?

Hello, I bought this camera a week ago or so, and when I start to record a video it records then when I press the button again to stop the recording the screen says “Recording…” and the background is black and it freezes like that for minutes then I restart the camera by taking out the power then re inserting it and the camera goes back to normal but when I click button to see my gallery it lags

I’m not sure… I think it will only let you play back images when plugged in so it isn’t charging. Try turning the camera off and see if it charges.
