I have the same unit but my kid put the remote in the recycle bin was he was about 3. I haven't been able to find a new one. It was also white. The thing I haven't been able to figure out is if the clock can be set without the remote. It has always worked perfectly

I have a sony dvd/VCR recorder combo that works perfect BUT I hit a button on the remote and it is now stuck on "mode 3", can't get the remote to do ANYTHING except flash mode 3 on screen, any ideas? thanks!

It seems that every time I find something like this while thrifting, the remote is missing... Yard sales are better, of course! The lack of auto-switch doesn't bother me. Nice find!

I have a similar Sony DVD/VCR player recorder. My problem is the DVD section is on LOCK and I cannot figure out you to get it to UNLOCK. I have the remote as well. Please help.

If the TV only has HDMI inputs, you'll need an A/V to HDMI converter. If the TV still has a set of component inputs, those input may have a composite (A/V) mode via the component inputs.

How do you transfer vhs to dvd on there? Can you do a video?

This model does not record to DVD. I don't have a recorder currently, but if I get one I'll do a video on it.
