Hi, I saw your post and was pretty sure I was getting this camera until you said your not getting it imported in your mac which is what I have. Have you fixed this for FCP X or is it still not working? Thanks if you can answer back!

Hi Bart, I've the same camcorder but I cannot get an appropriate import on my mac, using FCP X or iMOVIE 11... each time, the video is interlaced... so weird

You need to save it progressive mode (as it is genuinely in interlaced)

I am new to camcorders... but am looking for one to record video for a friend's band in a nightclub/bar with of course.. low light. I am using a zoom h4n for getting the sound and then will sync it all. Will this camcorder work well for this? help?! :)

Bad quality lenses with too many lens flares. Poor resolution for an HD camcorder. If this is Sony's flagship HD camcorder, it doesn't fare well agains't the competition (Panasonic HC-X920K)
