is the sound louder with cable or wireless? i read the freaquancy range is 4hz - 20khz wired, but 20hz -20khz wireless. my akg y45bt headset is louder in bt mode than in cable mode and i love that. i cant have it low my hearing is shit and i dont want to spend like 100 or so on a portable amp dac thingy.

Just FYI for anyone who had the previous model, I found them way more comfortable. I could wear those for hours and I never had an issue. The problem for me is that the new n1 model is the ear wholes are smaller and the cushion looks to be slightly thinner as well, took me a while to figure out they were smaller, I thought they just needed to break in but then I compared them to the old model and noticed they were smaller pads and ear wholes. My ears used to fit entirely inside the old model, in the new ones they don't fit unless I fold my ears into them but who's gonna do that. It's a shame because the old leather and cushions were superior imo. Besides that they're great headphones. Hope it helps

Ricky B they are very comfortable and I barely feel them on my head sometimes. with any headphones you wear you will get sweaty a little bit. but I use them for hours on end and my ears never hurt at all the noise cancelling is great too and for you use of travelling would definitely be helpful. definitely would recommend you try these out at a Best buy or local tech shop so you can feel how they are before you purchase them.

Good question Kristof. I'd say if you are often in noisy environments, and price isn't a huge factor, go for the noise cancelling option. Why not, right? It's good to have the technology.

I've had two of them break at the ''elbow'' brackets that hold the ear cups. Admittedly, I have a large head, but this is a design flaw. I think, however, that people with smaller heads won't experience this.

Just bought these and disappointed so far. Bass is heavy. High end is dull. Using these with a blue tooth transmitter into some analog audio devices. Sounds flat. Would have preferred some kinda equalizer in the app that you can permanently set the tone so even when not listening through the phone the tone settings stay. On the fence to return these.

Those ear cups weren't meant to block out sound. They were meant to keep the sound in and for the bass. to punch even heavier. I'm so sorry but there's a lot I could explain.

Sarab Naveed I'd say although the N1 are new and might have a more durability.. The only more features that is has over the B1 is the noise cancellation. Plus the N1 have a weird design that makes it look bulky at the top while the B1 has a fine curve to fit all heads and look smooth. They both are almost identical in sound with the N1 sounding slightly better. If your on a budget then B1 will do just as good as the N1. If you don't mind spending another 20-25$ on the N1 and getting the extra noise cancellation feature with slightly better sound then N1 is for you m8

I have the XB950-BT's, and they are great, but if I were looking for an honest review, I wouldn't look to a review by someone that sells them. Look at it like this: Chevrolet isn't going to review the Blazer, and point out the faults and tell you not to buy it. Of course they are going to be biased. They sell what they are reviewing. Plenty of unbiased reviews on KZbin. For anything but features, I'd suggest that you look there.
