AWESOME! Believe it, or not, I picked up the bar from best buy in "good" condition today for $375 I was debating on purchasing the arc ultra until I saw it. I need to buy the sub and rear but im curious which you found made the bar sound better immediately. It does need additional bass but im not sure if the rears are absolutely essential

Sure when I add the rears it’ll likely be priced higher but the sound is top tier in the 30 minutes since adding the subwoofer Ps: let’s go 9ers 🙌🏾We have those Seahawks tomorrow. I also just bought my ht7000 from BestBuy outlet for $240. No remote… ordered on Amazon $20. OMGD! This bar is insanely good. Curious on its full possibilities, I’m going to buy the rs5 surrounds and sw5 sub. This is in master bedroom. Might hook it up in my main room with 75” qn90d to compare it to my existing components setup . Impressed with the A7000 by itself

I have the X95L too and my room is a mediumish rectangle room that is half Dining room so it's quite odd. I think a soundbar would suffice. Is there a big difference between the a5000 and a7000 and should I definitely buy a Sony soundbar as it syncs with the TV? I'm quite confused as to what soundbar to get..

With a Bravia you can add a 3.5mm connection between the soundbar and the TV and it will incorporate the TV’s speakers into the center channel mix with the soundbar. I just upgraded my Tv so I can now use this feature and it really does enhance the center channel.

Please tell me, on the HT-A7000, where the side paired speakers play only one speaker at the edges, the neighboring one is silent, that is, one speaker plays on the left side of the soundbar and only one speaker plays on the right side of the soundbar. I have the A80L with HT-A7000 Soundar - Have 4 questions. 1. Looks like you are plugged into HDMI 1 port instead of Earc port on the soundbar. In the picture on the soundbar the EARC port in right below the center channel input. So the correct Earc port is on the inside if you freeze the video and look at the soundbar. is the Earc the inside port or outside hdmi port on soundbar? 2. On the A80L, when you go to change hdmi input quality (Example - 3 port (earc) 4 port (2.1 port) has option for Standard, Enhanced for 4k, Enhanced (for Doby Vision), VRR. HT-A7000 set up guide says put input on TV to Enhanced 4k. But in my old soundar that I returned, I noticed doby vision light turned to blue (meaning doby vision) only if I had HDMI input on tv switched from Enhanced 4k to Enhanced (for Doby). But all the instructions for HT-A7000 says put on just Enhanced 4k. I know LG TVs HDMI ports all play Enhanced 4k with doby without having to switch. So does anyone else notice you must changed HDMI input setting to Enhanced (with Dolby Vision) to get true Dolby vision with A80L? 3. When I don't have center channel plugged in, it seems the surround sound feels like it is all around me where I can "feel" the explosions like that bubble feeling but when I put center channel on, it feels like it takes away from the soundbar powerfulness and coming from Screen instead of firing all around me. Does anyone else notice that with center channel plugged in? 4. When it is all hooked up, and I go to Home Theatre list sync on TV, it shows Player One Earc/Arc CONNECTED space HT A-7000 (device name). Then below line it says Audio HT A7000 (device name) then blank instead of connected. Anyone else's A80L say this under Home Theatre List? Also, I do not have sub or rear speakers. just soundbar. Love it, works amazing but just want best/proper setup settings. HELP

Sony technicians are saying that my TV is old model of Sony which is not having eARC port and that's the reason I am not getting surround effect. Our TV is just having ARC Port. Turn off the AE Immersive sound. This will unlock a menu option to put in your own measurements (speaker distances and volume). Pick up an inexpensive Decibel SPL Meter from Amazon and a Bosch laser measure (the cheapest one you can find) and put your own measurements in, you'll get far better sound results this way.

It is competitively priced with Sonos. It goes on sale pretty frequently also. If I'm going with Sony for a premium soundbar though, I'm looking at the A5000. It isn't that much further behind the A7000, and is significantly less expensive.

heard this bar is trash - mids are recessed, dialogue is low and gets lost in action scenes, using voice enhancements just boost treble and sounds harsh at loud volumes, the bar does not get very loud and using adjustments such as auto volume just keeps the sound "even" which offers no dynamics.

I disagree and have been using it for a few months, I admit when I got it I wasn’t impressed but they sent the firmware update it excellent now. The trick is that you have to calibrate your room and some people may just do a plug and play. Who know but speaking for myself I’m happy

Bouncy speakers are not Atmos speakers. Dolby is really watering down that branding, just like what THX did to itself.

They are ATMOS speakers if Dolby approved the branding. They may not perform as well as actual physical speakers above you, but they are ATMOS if Dolby says they are.
