Sony HXR-NX5U NXCAM HD Camera

It took this camera to convince me it is okay to come down from a full size shoulder camera to a compact. We purchased the NX5 last June and have been amazed by this great little workhorse ever since. I push it hard in a wide variety of work. We shoot news, we shoot bush stock footage, we shoot corporate events and even weddings. It has been subjected to the extreme temperatures, smoke and dust of Australian bush fires and helicopter landings without issue. Greta camera. See our video responces.

Hi, im a school student in charge of setting up a filming crew for our school, im just wondering what you would suggest for an everyday use camera ranging from about 3,000 to 10,000 dollar cameras, they will be used in the day light and concerts so it needs to be able to cover low lit and high lit areas reasonably comfortably, by the way your videos are great. thanks

Good day, i recently bought this camera but i am having a problem, i recently shot 5 hours of footage and i'm editing in Premiere Pro but i'm noticing that after ever 30mins when the new file starts their is a frame missing when the files are join. what should i do?

Hi Jesse, thanks for the video. I do have a question: Could you elaborate about the recording options please? Specifically, when I record on SD card at the highest quality, what is the color space? And if I want to record at 10bit 4:2:2 uncompressed, how can I? Through the SD\HD output to an external recorder or are there any other options? Thanks for your time. Pickera

@@gurmukh174 the dc port looks like a usb port… but slightly different. The usb port will not provide power. If you have the specific power adapter, you should be able to find the power port behind a rubber cover

I have a Sony HDR-AX2000 AVC HD camcorder. I currently have my microphone hooked into the "input1" port. How do I turn off the internal mics so that only sound is recorded from the stick mic that I have plugged into input 1? I do not want the internal mics to pick up background sounds when I conduct interviews with the stick mic.

Koblr, go to xf300 on youtube. Then scroll down until you see a beach setting with some seguls. The footage to me is the best on KZbin. let me know will try to send yo the link.

Hello there, have you heard about "photo SFX art" (google it)? On their website you will find a smart free video demonstrating the right way to make incredible photos. This helped Daniel to make photographs which have a jaw-dropping-effect while you look at them. It might work for you as well.
