All - It has been brought to my attention that if you use the Inzone Buds in PC mode, you can use the controller functions to adjust volume, chat, and mute. This is a huge finding. Thanks to much @tazfas for letting me know. For everyone reading this, do you think I should re-film the video now that this has been brought to light? Everything else is the same, and they still get just as loud. You just have to max out both volumes for max audio output.

When it comes to transferring equalizer from PC Inzone Hub app to PS5 for Sony Inzone Buds, it does not allow that to happen. Did you find the same result for Inzone buds when it comes to transferring equalizer? Thanks soo much.

Great Review Brother! I have botht the Inzones and Pulse explorers Which is better depends on what system you game on more. The Inzone earbuds are fantastic but the fact that you cvan only adjust EQ setting on PC means that they are primarily designed for PC gaming while gaming on the PS is secondary. The Pulse Explorers are designed for the Playstation and you can adjust EQ settings on the PS5 nativelly. They also have dual connectivity, meaning you can listen to music, phone call etc etc while you game It also boils down to sound quality. The Planar Magnetic drivers used in explorersa re mainly designed for detailed crisp audio, not so much heavy rumbling bass. The inzones use standard dynamic drivers but they are very well designed and sound incredible and have very good bass. So, if you mainly game on the PS, then the explorers are for you If you game on PC then the Inzones are probably going to be better for you

I think the major point for me is battery life. Inzone 12 hours is pretty awesome. My only gripe is is that even though I'm fairly close to the transmitter, I'm getting some audio signal glitches. The buds are very comfortable for my ears, more comfortable that most buds I've had.

I had both the inzone buds, and the pulse explorer buds. To be honest I decided to keep the pulse explorer buds it's because overall after purchasing the correct ear tips and getting a proper seal for me it just put them over the top. I enjoyed both but the planar drivers just simply are amazing and the deep base shines through. Lastly the inzone buds didn't work on my phone at all and as far as the mic if I spoke normally it sounded like I was screaming which I had to turn the mic volume all the way down. The inzones are definitely the most comfortable buds I've worn before. Great video by the way, and sorry to hear about your dog😢.

@@TheColdest247 i have the explorer buds for 2 days there not a set up that make they sound louder ,the volumen is low i try every tips every band in the EQ yeah they have a clear sounds, yes they look beautifull , no more, i return they and was little sad because try to like it, next day buy the inzone and really are 10 times louder when make the eq , wow they are beautifull , the anc is a game changer too

@joesipr I might have to give the inzones another try. I love my explore earbuds with the planar drivers but if I can find a decent pair of inzones used I'll probably grab them to see which ones I like better. To really enjoy the explore I had to find the proper ear tips which don't come with them, but once I did it was a game changer.

In all honesty, it depends on what you primarily game on. The Inzones are primarily designed for PC gaming, and PS gaming is secondary; that's why you can only adjust their EQ settings via the Inzone hub app on a PC. If you mostly game on the PS5 then the Explorers are the best option, as you can adjust volume and EQ settings natively on your PS5 console. Its important to remember that Playstation is a completely seperate company. Yes, they are under the Sony Umbrella, but it's a completely separate division with its own audio division as well. The Explorers are made by Playstation so they are going to be the most compatible with the Playstation console. While the Inzones are made by Sonys main audio division. The whole Inzone product line is primarily designed for PC gaming.

GT - I love your channel and send links to my gamers friends all the time when they ask me about headphones, IEMs etc. Keep it the great content!! If you see this can you give your thoughts on dynamic range control; is it better to have it on or off? I have the Pulse explore (dog chewed one, so it doesn't work now) and just bought the INZONE buds last week, and the INZONE buds are wayyyyyyyyyy more comfortable, it's not even close for me how much better they are. Comfort rating for Pulse 4.5/10 INZONE 9.5/10 - I can wear them for hours with no fatigue. The Pulse make the inside of my ear itchy and a bit sore after a couple hours, and when it comes to any buds comfort is top of my list. I don't have LE audio on my Samsung s21 ultra so I have to use the dongle on my phone which isn't that annoying, but when I upgrade my phone next time then I'll make sure I get one with it. The dual connectivity with the pulse (game and music/phone calls) is nice but to be honest with you not having it, I don't miss it with the INZONE because I mostly play Warzone so not ideal to listen to music while trying to hear footsteps. I'm on PC now so the INZONE are better there, the pulse I wouldn't get if you're not on PlayStation because you can only adjust the EQ through the PS, where I can use the INZONE app on my PC for those buds and adjust the 10 band EQ there. Also the battery life being double than the Pulse at almost 12 hours is a nicer convenience than you think.

The party chat mix can only be adjusted through the menu, but it is also only PSN party. You can' t mix the chat party in game from the PSN menu while using the pulse elite or explore. Can you confirm if the edge controller can adjust both PSN party and game party while using the pulse or explore?

Yeah the Edge controller can control party chat (if active) on the PS Explore. With the INZONE Buds, if you switch the dongle to PC mode, it works there too!

The comparison I've been needing. I know some overlooked features have you thinking of re-recording, but I still think Inzone is the one for me. Even before this, so many Pulse reviews have been negative. Great review.

I'm really liking the Pulse Explore while using PSVR2. The comfort isn't the best, but I was able to play for a couple hours before it starting to get real uncomfortable. Comply foam tips will fix this though. Sound is good with the default Bass preset. Pretty much that classic Audeze tuning, they use on their gaming products (e.g., Maxwell and Penrose). I also really like being able to take phone calls while in VR while paired with phone.

I just purchased the Inzone buds, but I have been using the inzone H9 headset and even when I am playing on PlayStation five I set the dongle to PC mode which enables the function key volume capabilities. It seems to work better like that as the integrated PlayStation controls are sub optimal, so I’m hoping the zone buds will allow me to do the same kind of thing

@@rainmakerhd6959 I had them for about a week but then ended up returning them for mostly financial reasons but was having a technical issue where when it would be connected through Bluetooth LE to my samsung fold 4, it would have fantastic audio quality and very good heaby bass but would suddenly drop in quality and I would have to unpair and repair them to resolve the issue. That itself could have been an issue with my phone or needing some time for the technology to break in and something that could probably have been fixed with a patch or something. But what threw me over the edge; the dongle connection to the PS five one of the headphones would cut out for no reason but my PS five USB ports seem to be getting a little bit flimsy so this also could’ve been an issue on my end. so overall I would highly recommend that you at least try them, but purchase them from a source that you can do easy returns in case you experience those same similar issues. as far as the quality, when I wasn’t experiencing technical difficulties, it sounded fantastic and I am familiar with the inzone hub on my PC and it is very intuitive to configure your EQ and other settings there. and again just like for the H9 headset, I put the dongle onto PC mode set then I can use the controller volume interface instead of having to take my hand off the controller to adjust the volumes on the headset, but I am sure that will end up being up to your personal preference, let me know how it goes for you. Maybe I will decide to buy them again. If I can find out there was a patch released to fix the issues I was personally having.

Thanks for the vid. I had both to test and ended up keeping the Explore. They just sound better and the simultaneous BT is a must. I'd say, if you're looking for a single all-around set to use on everything, go with the Inzone. If you're like me and just want some sick gaming buds for when you don't want to use a headset, Explore can't be beat. I already have multiple TWS buds for other devices.
