Thank you for showing what noises are specific for noise cancelling and ambience cause I couldn’t find it no where on line and can’t tell much of a difference when the noise cancelling is on vs off

Sony needs to make an updated version of the Pulse Elite Edition Headset. It still is one of the best gaming headsets imo.

I know its not really a gaming headset but I use skullcandy crusher evo. I used to love the pulse elite for the vibrations but I think the vibrations on the evo is better since it's haptic and not motors

Yes I wish they’d just drop a 300$ premium version of the pulse. I sent the inzone h9 back because the pulse integrates so much better into the ps5. H9 you gotta manually switch the audio over every single time. Pulse is way more convenient and the sound is honestly in the same ballpark.

Thank you for the awesome review. I would also like to remind you, that is a Bluetooth headset, the data Bluetooth can carry is still low to transfer more quality audio to you. It's Ver. 5.0 so the data rate is still 2Mbps better than 4.2 version.

Would be nice for more detailed review. Like - is turning off headset cause ps5 to automatically switch audio to HDMI output? (so you get audio back on tv when you turn off headset) - that works on pulse 3d. Can software update for these headphones be done from ps5? (I guess PC only... but who knows; another thing that works with pulse 3d). EQ settings, profiles etc stored in PC app are only for PC - if you set things on PC and use these headphones on PS5 the profile settings are lost (probably these EQ adjustments are made on PC software side and not in headphones).

I like the pulse 3d but the ear cushions got very worn down in 2-3 months of use These seem nice but I don’t think I’d drop the $200 that is currently on if it seems like the same is going to happen

I recently just purchased the h7s for ps5 and I've been trying to figure out why when I use the headset my gameplay lags so bad where it's unplayable but when I turn off my headset it works great does any one know what the problem is

The big disappointment is certainly no app on iOS/android and no app on PS5. For the price it’s extremely disappointing IMO.

The 3d audio supports any headphones on ps5. It's an engine built in the ps5.

@@SoldierKnowsBest honestly... I've had two top end Sennheiser headphones and they can't even touch the Astro A50 wireless base gen 4s. You need the HDMI adapter and stuff for use on the PS5 but.. it's worth it. Also it uses the ports in the back of the PS5 so you have a free USB-A port to charge your controller during gameplay if needed. The sound quality is unmatched in my opinion. Also I bought the leather cups kit and headband for them. They come with different ones from the box. I think it's the synthetic it comes with? I don't remember I've had them for a few years but if you buy the all leather kit it makes a world of difference and you can adjust the headset if you have a slightly bigger head. I'd highly recommend it.

@@ncorvelli if you want to top the astro try the lucid sound ls41.... You'll need the HDMI audio extractor just like the astro! You get 3 EQ settings... surround sound, boosted surround and stereo... There is literally no headset that comes close that I've tried.

I was using this on my ps5 and I feel like the volume on these are very low compared to other headset like steelseries and razer. Also while using it for Warzone I was a bit disappointed I couldn’t tell where the enemies were coming from unless they were very close and just the directional audio in general was not good and I have my 3d audio turned on

For third party games turn 3D audio off. 3D audio is ( for now ) mostly supported by first party games.

You don't need the H9s, get the H7s. These are loud enough to hear the background long as you don't max out the volume. They should also add some more padding inside the ear cups cause the ones they have now is really thin

I this this one is not for PS5. It’s for PC and compatible PS5. No application to set up on iOS/Android as well as not app on PS5. App is on PC only. Man I look stupid with this on my head so big incredible. Not impressed with the sound and the mic sound quality. Noise canceling is ok. Confort is very good.

EQ settings do not work with ps5. Software update AFAIK also doesn't work (you need PC for that). It is also unknown if switching this headset off (on headset) cause ps5 to automatically switch sound output to HDMI (as it should do that).

Build quality is not up to it!! The leather on the top will come of and there is no way to repair it yourself! @sonyuk will claim it as physical damage so not covered by warranty … very disappointing..

Ok for iOS/Android but you can’t tune the sound as you liking you need a PC with the Inzone Dongle! Yep without dongle this headset is untunable. Sad But True but It Is What It Is!

@@christianmarchand8844 Bluetooth is not useless. You can game on pc/console and also talk to someone on phone at the same time without needing to take the headset off. You can also use the discord app on your phone for party chat while you game on console with everything working at the same time on the headset. Maybe you just want to listen to some music on your phone? Bluetooth is definitely not useless. Plugging a dongle into a console or PC is not difficult. It's no big deal at all.

@@XSwordOfWarX but you can’t tune the headset to sound to your liking without a PC that’s really bad, all my other Sony Headsets Let me do that, XM and WF. Sorry the H9 is way much too pricy. Good for PC only.
