I love the pocket camcorders! About 4 years ago, I saw a lot of nib old stock online at cheap prices in addition to ones I found in thrift stores. from Mino HDs to Kodak Z8i I still uses them for certain projects. I never picked up the Sony Bloggie, I am not a fan of those magicgate cards. I think as b-roll camera, the pocket cam can be fun to use. or used to shoot table top views. Thanks for sharing!

@thissidetowardscreen4553 I had never owned one. My friend loaned me this one. The low bit rate and soft focus was a bummer. Even in bright sunlight, it wasn't impressive. But maybe as b roll it would be usable. I had forgotten all about them they came and went so fast. Thanks for watching.

you should compare this pocket camcorder with an iPhone 3 and not with an iPhone 14 Max - I can't wait to see that side by side video

Unfortunately, I don't own an iPhone of any vintage. I don't think the 3GS could do HD video but it probably look about the same.

I have the Sony HDR-SR12 from 2006 1080P on a HDD

I wish the HDD would make a comeback. Like I said, I have left my card behind more than once. I got to Florida to watch a SpaceX launch and discovered on the way to the launchpad that my SD card was still in the computer. Oops, no way to recover from that. I loved having all my storage capability built-in.
