Yeah, I don't think that is whats happening, people argue amongst themselves about which console is better... but all that makes these consoles even capable of running games at the settings they do is because of something called "optimization" I'm only saying as it seems as if you are on side with consoles, and I don't blame you if you think PCs are bad, but blame elitists who hate console gamers for playing on that platform, but personally I find PC to be superior in very way :-)

I own both as of yesterday. I bought the Scorpio first because it had the 4K player, and I wasn't sold on the Pro. However, the pearl white pro came out, and I went and traded it in. Man... am I blown away by how nice the Pro looks. I can't hardly tell the difference in Pro and Scorpio. If it wasn't for the 4k player in the Scorpio, Forza Horizon 3, and Cuphead, I would probably sell my Scorpio, get a VR headset, get a external hard drive, and forget about the Xbox all together.

Sega Genesis, PS3 and Xbox1X owner here. I despise having to download games with these new gen consoles but I get it. Technology needs to develop a new disc drive that can handle more storage so the games are plug and play. PS3 and 360 were great about this! Anyways, once you get the games downloaded, the game experience is quite astonishing on the XBox1X. I use a 65” 7 series Samsung 4K UHD and games like NBA Live 18, Madden 18, Halo 5, COD are eye popping good without a hiccup.

You forgot to mention Xbox One X was released over a year after the Ps4 Pro, so of course, it's going to be more powerful. Would be incredibly stupid of Microsoft to release a gaming console as powerful or maybe slightly less powerful than their competitor. I think it's an important point. Though it doesn't matter since there's no arguement in what the more powerful console is.

It’s not a matter of opinion the Xbox one X is just superior, I’m not being bias it is just a fact. Saying the PS4 is cheaper and has better exclusives (which is just opinion and not fact even though I think it’s exclusives are better) doesn’t make it a better console, and really that’s all the PS4 has over the Xbox, the PS is larger, more susceptible to overheating, has a much lower frame rate, worse graphics, it doesn’t have true 4K it is just an upscaled 1440p. i could go on but I don’t really think I need to.

Most games are 1080p right now, and after some time, the xbox one x won't even be able to handle 4K anymore, so by then you should go for PS4 pro because it's $100 cheaper and you get the same 1080p experience (and VR)
