Sony PS-x55 Turntable repair

I've been tackling this Sony PS-X55 turntable for a while and it seems at though mine had issues with ALL of the common issues that occurs with these. I've finally managed to get it running and running right so I wanted to give you guys a little synopsis of what all I did and hopefully save a little research for someone out that.

Where were the grounding issues? Mine has the same problem.

I created the grounding issues. What is yours doing? (Or not doing?)

Arm won't move. led is flashing and the 68 ohm resistor is overheating. I removed one gear and now the motor keeps running, solves the overheating problem. I'm checking the cam switches at this moment. @@adventureswithvs6461
