I got mine from Mercari just last week and I haven't recorded material yet. Deck A has a disc error. Do you know how to make it through not to get a disc error in deck a so I can record my blank CDS? Thank you.

mine too the left deck, the right deck works great. My case could be the laser power adjuster, however I could not find it without tearing it apart

Do you know how to manually record in this device from a microphone?

You would need a PA system or mixer board to connect the microphone to and then from that you would use the RCA outputs to the RCA inputs on the CD recorder

Make sure to use music CD not data cd. It will say "music". That way you can play them on other players after you finalize.

That disc is not finalized. You have to press play to do this

Yes you can. I have the same model since 2002. Still works.

There is always some nerd that has a mod to modify the capability to record on standard Data CD-r(w). I have a Marantz DR700 that has an Italian mod and it works beautifully. No Cassette Deck can beat that. Old 8-12 speed CD-R's are best (Maxell).

@@Matt6438 It's a tricky Mod, barely any new discs will work. You gotta have old Maxwell 700 mb CDR's (12 speed) yellow label. The dye is key and only Maxwell had those back then.
