I was very surprised that such late 80s VCR model had Ghost Reduction Tuner function... AFAIK GRT function only became popular on top grade SVHS VCRs only since mid-late 90s...... Too bad the export marke only got the SLV-R5......

Its a Sony its not a Trick! Sony was build many better VCRs about 50 Years, for Consumer and Professionals....Any was (here we can see) by SVHS and VHS, that the Tape does not goes return to the Cassette, when you go to Forward or Return from Play....
