Sony STR-DE-475 Receiver REPAIR

This one was a little more difficult and an illusive fault to find. The PCB is also so fragile for the pads and traces because of its age and amount of heat. It's fixed now, for the most part, except I can't get an output out of the left and right rear speakers.

Hi, I have an STR-DE-545. The volume produced by the amp has gradually been getting lower. The right channel is the worst. Anyhow, I now have it running at max volume just to hear KZbin audio on a useful level. I'm determined to take a crack at fixing this amp. Your video was helpful in the methodology of tracing the audio signal. Would you have any other tips for me before I head off down the scary rabbit hole of Sony amp repair? Also, where is the best site to get a circuit diagram/service manual for such an amp?

It uses two uPC 2581 ic for four audio power amplifier driver stage and complementry transisters for output End. One STK 350-230 audio driver for centre channel and two output transisters for output End. See datasheets of both ICs

Hello, I have a question I have a "Sony Receiver STR-DE898 7.1 Home Theater" and some of the speakers no longer sound, the ones that do not sound I have tried them on other Receivers and they work perfectly that means that the audio outputs Red and Black are damaged I really don't know anything about electronics and I would like to know what are the outputs that I should buy to place it on the Receiver thanks

I wonder if any electronic repair service would be so anal. I'm assuming this is 90's tech. It sure looks it. Look at all those composite inputs. But the overall impression is, what a piece of junk. Do you find any of these "things" to repair during hard rubbish collection weeks? I've walked past countless items similar but of newer age and for the most part, working.
