Yeah , I heard about that a few Years ago about Sony trying to make a deal for exclusive title. I am pretty sure PA had considered it from what I heard but changed their minds later.

Sony ended up buying exclusive rights to DUST 514 from Pearl Abyss, for the PS3, and ruined it. DUST 514 was a sci-fi shooter made in the Eve Online Universe. Actions in the shooter actually affected the MMO world, and Sony botched it big time. If they touched Crimson Desert they would ruin it also.

I find it hard to believe PlayStation is a roadblock. Every other company can make next Gen ports visual updates but PA can’t? Idk…

Sony has been a notorious roadblock for almost a decade now which is why they aren't a popular publisher. They also run a similar scheme as nintendo with their online store and how they price cap everything with only "deals" coming once in a blue moon. They don't deserve any support period.

Sony is lazy, they're reagitating stale IP. They will try to buy Pearl Abyss in the future when they see DokeV coming.
