I tried following your steps in Settings, but your Sony TV is not the same as my Sony TV…So I just decided to do your last two (2) steps: Hold the Volume Down and Hold the Mic Button for 3 seconds until the light flashed and it worked! Thank you!!!

Thats great for you; been trying for three days now my Problem is. I can activated Bluetooth for my Sony remote Control with voice Control but then Bluetooth dosent stay connected i think IT might be because of a Bluetooth App fix Tool on Google Play Store that has messed Up Bluetooth: the Sony remote still works fine but the Problem is my Sony Bravia kd-xf 8096 cant find on Bluetooth my Sony remote voice Control i probably will have to do a factory reset on my Sony TV very annoying

This also worked for me on my new TV. When I paired another bluetooth device it disconnected my remote. Reconnected solved why my remote would not be able to use voice commands on the remote. Thank you so much!

Sounds like the rubber membrane under the buttons is worn meaning that a button is constantly on. Probably needs to be taken apart to investigate
