Hi Javed bhai, awesome video as always. In this projector, does the aspect ratio of the projection change automatically based on the aspect ratio of the video source.

None of the Home Cinema projectors has that Capability . However, you can change the screen aspect ration from a click of a button, for this the projector shoulc have Lens memory option, for lens memory option, the projector must have motorized lens capability. The Sony 5000es is relatively inexpensive from its predecessor is because that this model does not come with Moterized lens , hence switching between 16:9 and 1.35:1 cinema scope aspect ratio is not possible.

Sir I bought this projector in US as im staying there, and I am confused between which projector screen will be suitable? I have a dedicated media room that has 6 inwall speakers (2front, 2 top middle atmos, 2 back wall speakers and also with dark grey painted allover the room and no windows and no source of outside light. I am confused between ALR screen or 4k cine white or 4k cine grey. which projector screen will be best? ALR screen is only for UST projector or it can be used for sony 5000es aswell?

if you have a dark room cine white or grey is enough, Make sure the gain is above 1:3. ALR is for living room, however, if you want deep blacks , u can go for it.

Sir, as I repeatedly say in my video that we stay away from few brands because their after sales services is not in place at particular poit of time, technology and value for money affects our decision to deal with them. As far as Epson LS12000B is concerned, I see more value for money for Sony 5000es. Sony 5000es is LCOS on 3LCD technology which many regard it as more superior than 3 LCD. Also, 12000B is not a native 4k, it works with pixel shifting technology which has 3 X 1080p Chips and on the other hand Sony uses 2160p individual chips which is far more superior than pixel shifting. MRP of LS12000 is 5,99,000/- vs Sony 5,50,000/-. So you can research this from your end too. I leave judgement to you. 😇
