I thought so too, until I tried a Molicel P28A. I've used VTC6's for last 4+ years (have 8 of them atm), but recently picked up some Moli's at the suggestion of friend and WOW - MUCH better battery! Freaking powerhouse that holds on at 10% like it's 1/4 full...For like 10 hits, I keep saying, 'this is the last draw on this battery... nope, one more'. They are cheaper and easier to come by - in the US anyhow. Squonking on them at 50 watts, 0.17ohm on an Elder Dragon RDA, WOTOFO Profile squonk mod - Awesome battery! the VTC6 dies before my juice bottle is empty, but with the Moli's, I run out of juice before the battery dies!

I have a thrunite th30 flash light with a very high output, the highest light setting apparently wont work with regular 18650, the manufactirer recommenas high drain imr battery, will the sony vt battery work if its unprotected.the battery it comes with is a protected imr18650, 3100 mah, 3.7 volt, 15A

Ive read these VTC6 cells off with high capacity but after 30 or so cycles the 30q actually maintains spec better than the VTC6. Any plans to add cycle testing to your standard procedure?

I can't confirm or repute that because i haven't tested them for capacity degradation. In near future there are no plans to do such tests.

It's the voltage where charging process ends. Going higher will damage the cell.

Dag Carl! I clean them with ammonia. It's a fast and very effective way of keeping the copper clean.

nice review, managed to obtain 1/2 dozen from a Dyson vacuum pack... very high current. my batts do not have any markings except for a "QR" type image, which unfortunately i have not been able to "read" using the std google play QR code apps. Any idea how to read this stamp mark so i can figure out what the P/N actually is? Thxs & Cheers
