Such a rare piece of equipment, and intact. They have reliability on par with an old British car, so it’s even more rare to see one in working order.

Top quality technology, from the times when Sony made gear to last and sound fantastic. Still use MD players. Got my MZ-R35 still banging out sounds.

Very nice! I have this one and a 100,it takes a lot to keep them going. you must use them from time to time. This is the cleanest one I have seen, including my own.

Studio quality. Like you were in the room with musicians. No mpeg relics or glitches AT ALL.

Have that, the Sony SBM-1 and the Sony RMR-D100, in mint condition. Hardly 50hrs used. Been sitting in a Pelican case for 25years, just broke it out today to examine.

I absolutely love dat but the price of just getting into it compared to traditional cassettes is a problem for me

Does it run only on batteries or is there an AC adapter available? Do you need to clean the heads like standard cassette player maintenance?
