@@mandaverakhrao7648 Sony Xperia phones have been exceptional from Xperia XZ2 Premium. Its that the paid shills of apple and Samsungs like mkbhd, arun, super saf etc never review it. They had to buy the phone personally to review so they never review and had grudge. Where as Samsung and Apple send them free phones for review and those clowns kiss their ass. Now Sony since Xperia 1iii started sending review units to these clowns and finally all of them are reviewing Sony phones and guess what, all positive reviews 🤣. Sony's been ahead of the camera game since 1ii (real photography) and Vivo for computational (using of course Sony sensors). Both brands associated with Zeiss optics too. If u want full access to cameras and all goodies like 4k screen and 3.5mm and micro SD card slot, SONY all day everyday. If you like the computational photography stuff at its best, then Vivo X series all day everyday 💪🏼

When Sony said that mobile photography will surpasses DSLRs image quality in near future, I almost laugh, but these footage here is actually pretty convincing .

Except their bigger cameras do all this but better lol. Nothing about this is anywhere close to the performance of a full frame sensor. The specs are identical for frame rate, but the 10 bit is only in HDR, not all profiles. The sensors are small and not great In lowlight. It’s harder to attach various filters on this. And the ergonomics of shooting on a phone are so bad. People are so focused on the phone advancements negating the fact that cameras are also getting better too lol. This phone is insane. But unless Sony intentionally crippled their cameras to let the phone beat them, it wouldn’t ever happen.

Imho SONY has absolutely outdone themselves with the mark IV. They have been constantly improving and building with each mark since the first in 2019. And they seem to now be getting to the level that a collaboration with SONY's Alpha division first promised. And it looks like it's definitely starting to pay off. I am definitely going to look into ordering a mark IV as they are not sold in my country. *Sony really needs to make their phones more widely available.

But Sony just ignored all the noise, listened to their customers, kept their heads down and kept on honing and perfecting putting an Alpha type camera system on a smartphone. And now it's finally getting to where we have been waiting for.

I wish I could try one out at a store, the quality is unbelievable!! It does not have the annoying over processed and over sharp look, it’s so hard to find that nowadays. I miss my Xperia Z3, was so ahead of it’s time, and such a fun phone. Would love to work with the Sony marketing team to help them gain exposure!

Another thing is, how do you make the ringing sound stereo because you know that device has got a really good sound, but when someone gives you a call it gives you a 'great' MONO experience. how do you set the resolution and frame rate in the video pro app? i cant find any option in the menu settings.. there's Shooting/Project/Media/Audio/Technical/Network/Maintenance categories there but no res/framerate settings :( am i missing something obvious here? In the Cinema Pro app.. i also can't seem to find a way to use the face/eye tracking.

hi, thanks for the amazing footage! when you record at 120 fps, in either 1080p or 4k, are you locked to slow motion or can you record at those framerates with normal speed? They can record both, out of camera SlowMo, slowed down to whatever fps you want (24,30,60) with no sound, or you can get clean 4K 120 File with Audio.

The company "moment" make a clip on attachment for phones which allows you to slot lenses on over the top. They make some small ND filters as well, but you can probably get away with buying a cheaper one elsewhere

(I'm obviously only talking about bokeh, here) the camera footage looks really good otherwise. Gaining access to best vantage points and being let take one's time to take a picture where security guards or other employees are enforcing rules are aspects of photography worth considering as well... And, even if not travelling to places where strict photo rules apply, remember that everywhere an increasing number of sports events and entertainment venues will allow phones but not what they see as 'professional cameras'. Sounds a bit much to say this would *replace an entire camera system but it will certainly guarantee you can go construct and get pictures elsewhere denied. For some a regular camera phone is fine. But if a more creative photography style is important to you; and if you can now a actually go 'take' a photgraph where your big camera can not, then obviously you can property capture what you otherwise couldn't.

Nice phone but for years, even since the Xperia Z3, Sony phones have overheated and quickly warn you of such. If Sony could just fix that one thing, I would love to pick one of these up as I have Sony cameras and a PS4.

Well, I never had a Sony phone overheat. Even on the Z5 with the notorious Snapdragon 810. They warn you when you open the app but that doesn't mean it's overheating. That said, I'd still avoid phones with either the Snapdragon 810 or the 8 Gen 1 as they will burn your fingers.

Just to be CLEAR everything shot in this video is shot with the Xperia 1 IV, all clips have been graded, sharpened upscaled etc. the only mistake made was the labeling of the go cart scene where it was meant to say “85mm” on the bottom right but says “24mm” nothing from this video was shot on mirrorless camera apart from the scenes of me addressing the camera and the top down product shots
