I don't get why Sony don't add snapdragon 801's in their budget phones. The processor isn't expensive and definitely performs better than a 617 or a mediatek processor.

The 801 is indeed a better processor than the 617 but the 617 is more power efficient than the 801. Still though, I think the 801 is more expensive since it used to be flagship processor.

In your speed tests it seems like the phone you press home on first opens the next app quicker. Probs because it had a longer time to chill before opening the next app. Not a complaint, just an observation.... 🙃

the e5 will always win cuz it use a quad core 1.3ghz while the m4 use 1.0ghz to open their apps and 1.5ghz for intensive stuff
