I did unlock bootloader successfuly but when I selected kernel to flash in Flashtool program and selected TWRP.img I got OKAY in the logs but ever when I try to turn on my phone it vibrates but gets in black screen total, I cant turn on my phone no way. Need help!

If I may ask, you have downloaded the custom kernel right, is that custom kernel would automatically download the twrp recovery mode? By the way, I followed the stepsand it seems that the flashtools not opening. Do I need to restart the pc? Please response. thanks!

Some custom kernel does include the twrp some doesn't, this one in particular does not. Have you tried to run flashtool as an administrator?

Yes I have, I also found some FAQs about running flashtool in windows 10, and they said that it may be because of compatibility issue. And another thing, Im getting a hard time booting my z2 to recovery mode, it seems that the recovery is not working, I have upgraded my z2 to 6.0.1, i tried rooting my device using kingroot but after I tried to restart it to recovery mode, it's not going there. I really node some help. suggestions will much appreciated.

Well if flashtool is not working you can also try flashing your phone via cmd, connect your phone to your pc in fastboot mode (holding volume up button) you need a boot image of the kernel to do it. In the folder where your boot.img file is you need to hold shift and press right click then open command window. In the cmd window you can flash your phone with this command: fastboot flash boot boot.img Got a video how to do it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/enPckpyIm6aaqZY (old video and different phone, don't judge :P) If you can first upload the firmware to your phone which you want to install. When you succeed with the kernel flash you can easily install it from there.

The phone is indeed stuck on the sony logo and won't go past it. It responds to power+volume up (buzzes 3 times). I can put it into fastboot mode (blue LED, flashtool recognizes the phone in fastboot mode). However, I can't put it into flashmode (LED goes green, but flashtool doesn't recognize it, Windows and Sony Companion doesn't either btw). Has anyone had this problem before and knows how to fix it or is it indeed a hardware issue?

Sir i am facing one persistent problem..whenever i update the s1 boot fast boot driver with the usb driver with sonys winsub code...i get the android adb interface not the android bootloader interface..so i am stuck at this stage and the later codes fail...using xperia m dual andoid 4.3 with bootloader unlock permisible
